Great product but substandard sprayer. So buy the gallon and put it into your own dependable sprayer
The sprayer doesn't last too long. I like the product but have to put it into a WD40 sprayer. The Equicare sprayer will not even last through one refill gallon. So in summary I would not recommend the 32 oz sprayer.

Best Fly Spray
We learned about this product from our farrier. A few quick sprays and the horses were not bothered by flies ALL day. It is a nice hair conditioner, but citronella will cause skin irritation (raises in spots so hair looks thicker/standing out) on our horses if sprayed too heavily. There is no problem wiping a saturated cloth on the face. We take a spray bottle in the trailer as well. Best product ever tried, well in the last sixty years. Good deal with the larger quantity and saves so much from the feed store price. I confess to using Equicare as a stall spray until the Fly Predators get the larva/flies under control. Smells nice, too.

Do not buy this spray!
I bought this brand when the Pyranha Wipe & Spray was on back order. The ingredients looked the same and it was only a couple dollars more. It smells the same and works about the same. The problem with this spray is that it's very oily and both of my horses skin started flaking off after using this product. It is so oily that it clogged up the spray bottle that I put it in. Neither of my horses had ever had a skin reaction to a fly spray, but both of them had nasty dandruff flaky skin after just a couple of applications. I will never buy this product again!

Flyspray that actually works!
I have tried a lot of fly sprays. Most do very little especially where we live by the river. This stuff, though, actually works. I can ride as long as I want and my horse is comfortable. The lanolin is good for her coat too. My farrier first recommended it to me.

The only fly spray I use
My old mare is very allergic to pest bites and this product lasts longer and does a better job in hot weather than anything else I have tried. I gave it a 4 star rating because there is always room for improvement (!) but it works in the California dry heat great!

For the cost it's a good spray for short term relief
It's a good Spray for the cost will only last a day maybe , it's oily on the coat but it seems to dissipate by the next day when you have to re-apply

A Very Good Fly Repellent
I have gone through several big name brand sprays over the past few years, and this one seems to be better. I will buy it again.

Need a recommendation for best insect repellant for NH?
A shopper on May 28, 2015
BEST ANSWER: This is the best fly spray I've found. It has a greater amount of active ingredients. It is oily but it allows the spray to stay on longer.
Is it cheaper if you buy it by the case?
A shopper on Aug 27, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I always buy it in the gallon size and usually 8 at a time. It is less expensive that way. We split the cost among the boarders in out barn.
