Kills Lyme Disease-carrying ticks, including Ixodes dammini. Lasts 2-3 days. Oil-based.

It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

Consult a veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged, pregnant or nursing animals or animals on medication.
Not for use on horses intended for slaughter. Thoroughly brush the horse's coat prior to application, to remove loose dirt and debris. For dirty horses, and as a preparation for show grooming, clean the coat with a quality shampoo. Wait until coat is completely dry before applying. Cover entire surface of animal with spray but avoid getting product into horse's eyes or other sensitive areas such as mouth or nose. Brush coat against grain while spraying to ensure adequate penetration of product. As a wipe, apply liberally with a clean cloth or sponge. Make sure spray has completely dried before covering with any tack. For initial treatment, apply daily for 2-3 days. As infestation subsides, repeat treatment every 5-10 days, or as prescribed by a veterinarian. Also reapply every time animal is washed or exposed to heavy rain.

Cover animal's eyes with hands. With a firm stroke to get a proper spray mist, spray head, ears and chest until damp. With fingertips, rub into face around mouth, nose and eyes. Then spray neck, middle and hind quarters, finishing legs last. For best penetration of spray to the skin, direct spray against the natural lay of the hair. On long-haired dogs, rub your hand against the lay of the hair, spraying the ruffled hair directly behind the hand. Make sure spray thoroughly wets ticks. If necessary, reapply product at two to three week intervals. Also reapply after animal has been washed or exposed to heavy rain.

Causes substantial but temporary eye injury. Harmful if swallowed. Do not get in eyes, on skin or on clothing. Wear goggles, face shield or safety glasses. Wear protective glove or mitt when applying this product. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling. Avoid breathing vapors. Do not smoke while using. Do not contaminate food-stuffs. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse.
Avoid contact with eyes, or mucous membranes. Avoid treatment of nursing puppies and foals under 12 weeks of age unless prescribed by a veterinarian. Honesty about fly sprays
I actually purchased Equisect, Bronco, Pyranha, Ecovet, and from Tractor Supply house brand, in addition to the Flysect Super 7.
Included in my "study" of my 6 horses was Wipe and Ultrashield.
There were 3 products that made the grade! THIS IS one of them.
ALL of the products listed were effective for about a half days time. EXCEPT for the 3, which lasted a full 24 hrs...there were 2 other products that I liked slightly better, but this one is right up there!
NONE of the products came close to lasting multiple days, don't care what the label says...

My go-to fly spray
I first bought super-7 three years ago when my gelding was pastured in a field that had TONS of ticks. Sprayed him every few days and pulling ticks from his mane every day became a distant memory. He may not be in the tick-infested field anymore, but this spray also works wonders repelling biting flies and gnats in the hot summer days in central Illinois. The cherry on top is this product smells amazing and keeps his coat gleaming. Won't buy anything else!

My horses are in stalls and this fly spray works great .

At least it smelled pretty.
Fly spray is my last line of defense for my horses against flies. I have a dumpster for manure that gets emptied every week. I follow a Fly Eliminator program every year. I hang Big Bag Fly Traps around the property and all my horses wear sheets and masks. I just want a spray to keep the flies off their legs and bellies. I bought this based on reviews here, but I should have stuck with Wipe and Spray from Pyrhana. The only time the flies left my horses legs was just to avoid the mist of the Super-7. If the mist stopped the flies would land again. It smells really nice, but had zero effect repelling the flies. My follow-up order with a gallon of Wipe and Spray thankfully arrived within 2 business days!

The best!
Best working fly spray out there. I've tried a lot of them, and they just don't work. A little pricey for a fly spray, but I've found it works the best and won't buy anything else.

Best product on the market today.
We all know fly products don't last as long as product states in their ads, but this product actually will last through the day quite well.

Smells good, works better.
While no fly spray seems to live up to label claims, I've found Flysect Super-7 to come closer than most. The flies are generally deterred for at least a few hours, and my horse and I have been able to enjoy our outings with little annoyance from the buzz-crowd. I've used it in the sweltering woods of Georgia to the high desert of New Mexico with equal effectiveness (though in Georgia I also rode with a fly switch).Bonus: Flysect Super-7 smells better than any other spray I've used. A riding friend once asked if I put cologne on my horse.

horse spray
VICTORIA F on Apr 15, 2014
This is the best spray for my horse. He is sensitive to fly bites and he gets the greatest protection with this product. Used by the barn mgr and most owners at the barn. I shop around for this product only, at the best possible cost. It's a little more than other products but the quality is far superior. My horse's comfort level is my greatest concern. The gallon concentrate does not work as well as the premeasured quart size. Tried and true. You will not be disappointed with this product.

This is the only insect spray that has worked for me. I recommend it to all my riding friends.
