Curious about my horses health - he's 23 y/o. Thought this would give me a better picture of what he needs.

is there a lab fee in addition to the price of the kit?
Jana H on Mar 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No charge for the basic results, but you do pay to ship and there are other results you can request for additional fees. My vet sends out anyway and is 40 miles away so was convenient for me to use this kit. Was able to worm properly based on fast rests given. Did not show bot fly larvae in my young colt though..luckily the wormer was able to show that was an issue once they died(yuck) now I am mindful of that. I would use the kit again.
Do you need to put a cold pack in the envelope when you ship it?
A shopper on Dec 11, 2018
BEST ANSWER: No, I always plan to mail my samples on a Monday verses Friday so they are not sitting around a day with the postal service . If I collect late in the week, I do freeze the sample until I'm ready to mail as the directions say on the packaging.
Do you need 1 kit per horse?
A shopper on Mar 25, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Yes. But the results are quick and accurate. Totally worth it. My vet basically does the same thing and charges me an extra $10 for shipment etc. rather do it myself!!
