Returned
I received the wrong one and it had a what appeared to be a melted spot on it. I returned it (without any problems) and opted to not get the one i ordered because it was made by the same manufacturer and figured the quality would be about the same. I realize it was only $240.00, so if this is what you get for $240.00 I will fork out the extra and get a better one. Don't get me wrong it is usable but I personally don't think it will last very long.

hmm..
when i got this thing out of the box the first thing i noticed was the smell. but that wasn't really what i was worried about. when i looked at the saddle, it looked a little large, but that's because i ordered a 17, and got an 18 inch oh well, not a big deal. the billets are made of some re-enforced material that are stronger than leather i guess. the stirrup leathers are made of the same thing, and are pretty nice looking, the stirrups themselves are just the regular looking style and get the job done. the girth is waaaaaay to big for my Haflinger gelding. a 50 inch girth is a little over the top. the reins seem a little uncomfortable on the hands, but at least i have another set. over all, the saddle is good for its price, and fits my wide cob style horse well.

Does it have long billet straps for the girth? Or short ones like the old dressage saddles?
A shopper on Dec 4, 2015
BEST ANSWER: This saddle has long billet straps that fit the standard size dressage girths.
What is the life expectancy on the wintec or synthetic saddles? I owned my Argentina English saddles forever.cheap last a lifetime..so synthetic looks way more comfy..but if you ride 5 days a week is it going to last a year? 2? Does the rider wear ,rub holes in synthetic? If so what's the expected life span?
A shopper on May 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Each rider would have is own wear pattern. That being said we have yet to have returns on products for the problems you have listed. The tree also comes with a 5 year warranty on our part.
