Horses Love These!!!!
The German Muffins are by far the BEST treat you can give your horse. Not only are they a wholesome treat, but the horses find these irresistible! Forgot I had one in my pocket and as I was filling my horse's water bucket, he kept raising his right front leg (he's clicker trained & that's how he says "please"). I couldn't figure out why he was so intent & not giving up. He then put his nose near my pocket and I realized then I had his favorite treat of all time. These always arrive fresh and I honestly couldn't recommend a better way to reward your horse.

Absolutely yummy
Our horses enjoy this treat immensely. We put it in their last feeding of the eve snack. Keep them in the house so they don't freeze in the cold barn in the Chicago area.

My horse loves these! Every horse we've shared with things they're head bobbing good too. Haven't had anyone turn them down yet. Plus after having gotten them, I see they're made in the Midwest!

Can you put a prascends pill in these and have the horse eat them? Will the horse continue to eat them?
Apparently this pill is very bitter. I have tried shredded carrots, hiding in a piece of apple, etc. Now he won't eat either carrots or apples.

BEST ANSWER: I can tell you that i send these muffins to three different barns in three different states and the horses in all three love them. Is there a way you can coat the bitter pill with either molassas or thick peanut butter or honey before you insert it into the muffin? That might work. Your horse sounds very finicky but he is not the only one. The muffin is a decent size--not too big and not too small. Put the coated pill inside and then press the muffin down a bit so the pill stays buried inside. I do hope this will help!
