How long do it takes to work ?
A shopper on Jun 7, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This is truly hard to say for our situation. . .my horse, Dawn, just turned 23 in April and I have just started using this product. But CAN say that she seems to be in no pain . . .is up @ 4:30 - 5:00 am, trotting back and forth and calling out for me to come feed her!! She IS 1/4 Arab, so is a little hyper! She seems to be feeling just fine!
Very Interested in the Fluid Flex.....do you ship to Canada?
A shopper on Feb 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately consumable items are not available for direct shipment outside the USA. If you have a Stateside delivery address, you could receive it that way, or if you choose the International Shipping option during checkout, that would probably work as well.
How long does it takes to work in pet?
A shopper on Jun 7, 2016
BEST ANSWER: In my horses I see a change within 4-5 days of giving the loading dose.
I just bought this fluid flex. Going to try it on my 16 year qh. I just tried another brand and it has made my horse so hyper it's not even funny. He has MORE whoa then go. But now he will try and run ya to death. I just took him off of it. Waiting a couple days then start this product. Does it make any of your horses hyper?
Trina R on May 16, 2017
BEST ANSWER: My horses are Thoroughbreds so they are high strung anyway. It did make them feel much better. My 25 yr old is moving so much better on this product. I also give them both magnesium 5000 to help with the hyperactivity which helps.
I have a 14 year old,65 lb., German Shepherd with hip dysplasia. Will this be harmful to her? How would I administer this to her and what dosage would I use?
cindy c on Oct 27, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Cindy, we have only used Fluid Flex on three of our horses. For them it has been most helpful. I would suggest however that you ask your vet prior to using this on your Shepherd. If he/she says OK, just sprinkle it on her food at mealtime in the dosage your vet suggests. Good luck
I see that potassium sorbate is an inactive ingredient used as a preservative. Is this the same as potassium? I have an HYPP quarter horse and she cannot have high potassium feeds so I'm trying to determine if it is safe to feed her.
A S on Jul 7, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I have not dealt with your issue, so I would check with your vet first.
How to feed?
A shopper on May 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: We have a pump dispenser on the top of our bottle of Fluid Flex which dispenses one ounce of Fluid Flex per pump. We feed twice per day and pump one ounce per feeding as a top dress on the feed.
What's the difference between this and Farnam's Next Level joint fluid?
Mickey V on Oct 23, 2016
BEST ANSWER: We have used fluid flex for one of our horses and it works great for him.. Since he is doing great we have not looked at Franams next level joint fluid. I do not know if that helps you but you may try it and if it works you do not need to look any further. If it does not help your horse then look at the next level. We alwyas try to start with the minimum intervention and go from there.
Can dogs take fluid flex?
A shopper on Jun 4, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hi. The product label indicates that it's only for horses. I believe there are similar products that are customized especially for dogs.
