My horse is bred very hot and gets amped up easily. Quietex is a nice alternative to ace and it actually helps take the edge off.

is this product as good as Vision ?
james m on Feb 25, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Vision and Quietex seem to have the same ingredients. Both list Farman on the label. Is it the same product??? I didn't have any problem feeding Vision but my mare is refusing the Quietex product.
has anyone tried this with there horse ?
james m on Feb 25, 2016
BEST ANSWER: YES! And it works. It lets my barrel horse walk down the alley quiet. But let's her perform. It's not like ace. I give it an hour or two before I run.
My horse had surgery and is on stall rest long term. He gets amped up when taken out on lead, he can’t be turned out. He tries to drag me. Will this help him?
Pammy on Jun 18, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I have used Quietex on my horse before clinics and it worked fantastic. It helped her keep her focus. Recently though I gave her some prior to the farrier visit and a storm blew in and you would never know I gave it to her so it works under calm conditions but anything excessive in regards to outside influences it doesn't help much. I will always keep some on hand though.
Has anyone ever used it for riding horses in a parade?
Jackie O on Dec 31, 2017
BEST ANSWER: No, but each horse responds differently. Be sure to try it prior to a performance. One horse we tried it, it made her jittery and the other it didn't effect her at all. Try desensitizing with similar items that they would see at the parade as An alternative.
Will this help a horse that weaves?
A shopper on Aug 14, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It may, it's a good product to try. Unfortunately you won't know for certain until after a few weeks' use of the product. Different supplements work more and less well for different horses.
