COLT GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT SUPPLEMENT
Nicole G on Sep 18, 2015
Can I feed it just once a day or does the daily dose really need to be spread over two feedings? My horses are boarded and I go out to give supplements in the evening. Twice a day would mean this product won't work for me.
Marnie N on Mar 4, 2017
Best Answer: I feed supplements in the evening also as I have two older horses that take a while to eat If I give it in the morning the pigeons would get it before the horses finish their pellets. Not giving vitamins to the pigeons!!!!

Does it make your horse hot as in goofy attidude?
Cecilia B on Jul 25, 2016
Best Answer: I just used it once for nutrition. I didn't notice any behavioral differences, but my horses stay in the pasture. I am starting to see more articles that say horses don't belong in a pen, much less a stall, and that they should be fed often. I don't think a supplement would affect a horse's behavior. I hope this helps.

Will this product help a horse's coat look healthier?
Diane H on Mar 13, 2017
Best Answer: I started using this product 3 years ago. I was having an issue with rain rot and have not had any trouble with it since then. I think it improves their overall health. And my horses do seem to have healthy looking coats.

could this help a horse that has laminitis with cracked hoofs and founder? This is a rescue horse
Vicki B on Nov 28, 2015
Best Answer: I use this product to supplement for overall health of my horse, like a vitamin would for a person. For your horses issues, I would use a product that is more specifically geared to the horses bone, cartilage and hoof, like a hoof supplement. If these are active flare-ups, I would speak to a vet or farrier before starting any feed based treatment.

Will this take the place of a mineral block?
Kathi h on Nov 13, 2016
Best Answer: Probably. I keep a salt block but not a mineral block and they are fine.

Best Answer: I use this for my 1100 lb MFT horse. I would check with your vet. A different dose might be used for a mini.
