Worth every penny...
I am so impressed with the pricing on this tape fencing. I have used the 1/2" for over a year for rotational grazing and to keep horses away from a barbed wire fence that borders their pasture. I have had deer crash through it, tree branches fall on it, and taken it down and relocated it many times and it has held up incredibly well with no fraying or snags. It is very comparable to the more expensive brands that are sold at places like tractor supply (actually both quality and construction are identical!!) and so much cheaper. I highly recommend this to anyone. Don't let the price fool you...

Great Product - Great Price
I looked at this at the local feed store where is was quite a bit more per roll. I bought multiple rolls and got free shipping at Horse.com. So I ended up saving $9.00 per roll.

Easy to install and durable
I have several acres of uncut hay that needed to be fenced for grazing and I needed an inexpensive solution. This fit the bill and went up beautifully. I set up 2 strands and the horses are easily able to see it so there is no chance of them running into the tape accidentally but at the same time it's pretty durable and would at least take some effort to snap this. This is the perfect economical fencing material, and I will be ordering more so I can finish off the rest of the property.

how many ft is in the 1 in tape?
Rose A on Sep 12, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I believe the answer is in the product summary - scroll down. 656 feet.
What power unit is suggested or recommended to electrify this tape?
CHERYL P on Nov 23, 2015
BEST ANSWER: My electric fence power unit is rated for bison. I have goats and it takes that much to contain them. However, my horses jump if you hiss at them and they are standing close to the fence. I would suggest looking it up on the manufacturers web site.
would this work to keep rabbits out of my garden?

Thought I would put the bottom strand 6" above the ground and a second strand 1 foot or so above the ground.

BEST ANSWER: With enough electricity to this, it would probably keep a bear out of your garden. However, as you probably know, young rabbits are very small and will slid right under a wire that is six inches off of the ground. This is fairly heavy compared to the wire and depending upon how far apart your posts will be may droop low enough to solve the height problem.
