SENTRY Fiproguard is a topical flea and tick treatment that protects your cat from fleas, ticks, and chewing lice. Fiproguard contains Fipronil, the same active ingredient used in Frontline. One dose is fast-acting and long-lasting. Its sustained-release formula protects cats for up to 30 days. This includes (3) one-month doses.

agree - does not last
decided to use on cat and dogs - due to some savings - used throughout year - agree- noticeably only works about 2 weeks then revert to spray and carpet treatment as needed - may seem the same as Frontline but whatever is the actual difference in content is the reason Frontline does work better -

I am not familiar with this product. Is it just as safe as frontline? I have a sensitive cat and can't afford the frontline. thanks!

BEST ANSWER: I had no problem with this product (one is an indoor cat and the other is a outdoor/barn cat). I have one cat that is very sensitive to everything from food to shampoos. She is older (13yrs) and doing great! Having tried other products to save a buck or two with no success on getting rid of fleas then to deal with a rash...this one worked for me and I plan to buy more.
