Best deal for biotin supplement
Usually avoid reviews but with the time and energy I spent researching/comparing biotin products and finding a good one - someone may benefit to know that For-A- Flex Biotin Formula is the best for me with my horses. The pickiest horse eats it all, fed with grain mix. The nutrient balance is good, with high biotin for the best cost/day to feed. The hoof growth consistently gets farrier comments, even in winter. A excellent product at a good price with outstanding outcome.

Excellent Product
Started using this product about 4 months ago and have seen noticeable improvement in my mares hooves. She was getting hoof wall separation and just seemed tender footed. Her hooves are doing so much better since I started her on this product. I can even ride her barefoot on ground that's not real rocky. It's reasonable & easy to feed too.

It's working!
It's getting close to the point where my horse's hooves are grown out entirely while he's been on For-a-Flex.He's still got some holes at the very bottom of his feet, but the majority of the hoof is nice and strong. I'm hoping that by the time he's grown his entire hoof out while on For-a-Flex, he won't even have the chips that are left.

I have to mix this with some grain to get my horses to eat it
I think this product will be good in the long run but I would much rather have it in pellet form

PRODUCT WORKS
Horses with white hooves often are soft this product helps to harden hoofs. Mix this with sweet feed, horses eat this up. Also use KERATEX HOOF HARDENER at the same time. Turned soft hooves around in one shoeing. Horse.com offers these two products at a great price. Been customer for over 16 years, love the site and customer service is the best.

helps with mane and tail growth!
For-A-Flex biotin for sure helps with mane and tail growth of my minis! I just added source also to help with my bigger mares hoof cracks and hoof growth. Also had a gelding do some terrible damage to his coronet band. Imediately started feeding him this supplement and his hoof is reattaching! (it was shredded about 3 inches)

What a difference it makes
in both their hooves and coat quality. I have 2 rescue horses that were in horrible condition when I got them. It was a long slow road to recovery but the biggest difference came when I started them on For-A-Flex biotin. My farrier was amazed with the difference in their hoof growth, strength and flexibility. Their coats glistened. My vet could not believe they were the same horses. Each horse gets a small scoop on top of their feed and the results are amazing. They lick their feed dishes clean.I now order the 25 lb bucket. It's a great deal and I don't want to ever run out.

Needed a hoof suppliment
RAY H on Jun 26, 2017
Bought this because my paint has soft hooves. Mix this with sweet feed and he gobbles this up. After one month the farrier said there was a difference in his hooves. I would recommend this product to any horse that is under stress, has problems keeping shoes on, or lives where the weather is extremely wet or extremely dry.

Fore A Flex delivers the highest amount of biotin per oz than any other on the market. It is simple. More biotin per oz for less money. When you are feeding lots of horses price matters...All my horses have excellent hoof growth...This product is A+++

what is a heaping scoop ?
CHERYL F on Oct 14, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Rather than leveling the scoop after I fill it I leave the powder on the top rounded. Not to the point it's falling off but just so it has a round top. It's working well for my horses so I assume I'm doing it right! :)
