If the nets come in 4,5, and 6' lengths; what is the diameter? Or to what diameter will they stretch?
Arlen S on Apr 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I don't know. I use mine on huge round bales over six feet around and I think I was told they weighed 1400#. I have used it for two years and it's in good shape for another year
Is there any risk that horses can get their hoof caught in the net? Or maybe their shoe caught in the net?
A shopper on Jun 6, 2016
BEST ANSWER: If your horses wear shoes, put a round bale feeder around the net to keep feet away from it. If they don't wear shoes it shouldn't be an issue.
Have you had horses tear holes in the mesh, do to it being so soft?
A shopper on Jun 14, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This item is not guaranteed against horse defect however, we have not had any customers contact us to say their horses have bit a hole in it
Is it difficult to put on the round bale?
A shopper on Aug 30, 2017
BEST ANSWER: We hold the round bale off the ground with bale spears then run the net over the bale and I get in the bucket to cinch it up and tie it off. Not too difficult a little messy in the winter with the mud. I have seen someone lay one on the ground and set the bale in the center and raise the net around the bale, if I had to do it this way I would maybe buy one one size larger than my bales otherwise you may not be able to get the center cinched tight.
How do you measure what size net you need?
A shopper on May 31, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It depends on the size of your round bale. These nets come in 4 ft, 5 ft, and 5 ft lengths. The 6' round bale net will also fit over a 4x8' square bale, if that is the type you use.
We have 1 ton round bales. What size net would I buy?
A shopper on Feb 20, 2019
BEST ANSWER: A one ton bale is a huge bale you would need to get the 6' net and maybe measure first to be sure the bale isn't over 6'. my bales are 600 and 1200 lbs. I use the 6' on my 1200 pounders.
Can cows eat from this net?
jan p on May 13, 2017

A shopper on May 4, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I suppose it will last as long as the material it id made from will last. Ours is outside 24-7 for almost a year, with 4 horses and several goats, and shows no signs of wear or rot. It is by far the single most economic and labor saving item I have purchased in a long time!!
