works
I have used it for 2 full weeks now and it appears to be working for my halflinger who has high ringbone and struggled to take a full stride. He now walks with out driving his feet toe first into the ground. The bad side is you have to make sure to put it in some moist food and mix well because it is so powdery. This way the horse doesn't breath in the powder. Wish it was more granular

I have seen improvement but was hoping for more.
I had hoped for great improvement on my 23 year old gelding who was beginning to limp at the walk. He has been on this product for almost a month and should now be put on a maintenance dose. I have seen some improvement but was hoping for more because of the other reviews.

NOT recommended for dogs
Before buying-manufacturer confirmed this product was safe and recommended for dogs (as the label states). I started feeding it to my 60lb German Shepherd at recommended rate. She immediately reacted negatively to her food, so I could tell she didn't like the smell or taste of the supplement. On the third and fourth day of feeding her this, she vomited. So I cut way back, and just put a finger "pinch" of supplement into her food. Tho this eliminated the vomiting, she still was reluctant to eat her food. So by the end of about the 6th day of feeding her the supplement, when she wouldn't eat her food at all, I quit. The next feeding, without the supplement in her food, she devoured her food, and has done so since - also without any further GI upset. I don't know if I got a defective batch or its just is not good for dogs. Here is one dog that did NOT like the product, and it caused her GI upset. And because its a FOOD item, Horse.com refuses to give a refund.

First Skeptical, Now Amazed!
Two friends of mine use this on their horses and recommended it for my Percheron mare that has always been ever so slightly tender when walking on gravel. I use boots on her when I ride her, but walking in the sacrifice area, you can see her walking gingerly sometimes where the stones are. After using this for about a month, she is stepping out and moving like she use to! I am a believer now. At first the palatability was an issue. I even called the manufacturer. That only lasted a week and she doesn't even bat an eye at eating this.

This product really works!!!
My horse was showing signs of arthritis and developed a noticeable limp in his front leg. I bought the Grand Flex Senior, mixed it with his pellets and after a short time, he is like a new horse. He no longer limps and he is a lot more active than before. Great product!

Little expensive, but well worth it
I have a 30 year old gelding who was getting quite stiff and creaky. Started him on this and now he is much more flexible and still rideable. He didn't really like it that much at first, so I wetted his food down and added a bit of molasses. However, now he eats without the molasses, just wet his grain down a bit so it's not too powdery. I bought a 60 day supply and said I'd try it and give it a chance to see if it really made a difference, and it really did. Am now on my third re-order of the product!
