Very pleased.... but
The stirrup leathers were beautiful and a good price, unfortunately my saddle is old and the leathers were too thick to fit. I returned them

Nice reinforced stitches leathers
They match perfectly with our HDR saddle but may be too light for some people. I light that they are reinforced stitches as my daughter jumps. They are thick but my daughter loves them.

great product
i bought a pair about six months ago fro my 11 year old hdr saddle. they are soft to begin witha nd are easy to maintain i have the lighter color and they do not seem to darken withlexol or netsfoot oil. they seem to look rough when they do not get oiled under the flap where the metal is but goes away with cleaning. i love that they are not tooo long or short and will be happy with these instead of the old type of rough leather. thy do not seem to strech or have uneven holes like some leathers do. you should really buy thses.

not sure about what size to get. I am 5'4 and these will be used for some light jumping with an older steubben saddle. I do ride with them a bit long because of bad knees. What size is best?

BEST ANSWER: I am 5'4" myself and use the 54's. Or, you can hedge your bets with the 60's and cut them down -- I've done that, too. Just bevel the edges so they look nice.
How thick are these stirrups? buying to use with a Buena vista plantation saddle. comments say thick.
shannon l on Jul 21, 2017
BEST ANSWER: These leathers are 1 inch wide by either 54" or 60" long.
