Wish it was a deeper red
Overall, it's just what I wanted and expected. In a perfect world, it would be a much deeper red. This red is sort of a cross between a deep Coral and deep pink. We started putting it together last evening, and as other reviews have stated not all holes line up correctly. But we have been able to Fashion a quick fix. Overall we are satisfied, and if it gives us as many years Service as our blue one, we will be more than happy.

Expected better for USA made product
These had to be put together which normally isn't a problem. The holes did not match with the holes on the hay feeder bars. We bought 4 of these and all had the same problem. Had to enlarge the holes to get them to match up. The hangers hang crooked on my corral panels because the brackets don't line up properly. It is not a huge problem, but irritating.

A Great Lightweight Feeder
This is a very durable lightweight hanging feeder that can easily be moved around as needed. I have purchased several of these feeders and I'm very happy with them. The only modification that I have to make to the feeder is that I need to change the drill holes closer to the rear of the feeder when mounting the hay bars, otherwise the hay flake will slide right down to the bottom. Also, the hanging brackets aren't the strongest and I have had to replace with stronger angle iron on a couple feeders. They come with small drill holes on the bottom to allow rain water to drain through but you will need to make them a little larger. Wait for Horse.com to have a "free shipping" sale for orders over $99 and it's a good deal. Overall these feeders are perfect lightweight additions for your animals and for your back!

Perfect for the stalls
I purchased two of the hanging wall feeders for my stalls. Both were easy to assemble, are very sturdy and hang perfectly over the 2x6 stall front wall. It holds about 2+ flakes of hay depending on how your bales breaks appart. The feeder seems a bit pricey but I have found it is well worth the price. Will be purchasing more in the very near future for two more stalls.

My horses had these destroyed with in 6 months.
The metal brackets bent and would not hang on the fence. The screws keep popping out and I put them on tight. The only partthat has not broke is the plastic. Even my yearling has done a job on thembending the brackets, they are just a pain, always putting them together on a weekly sometimes daily basis. I have to tie them with bailing twine to help keep them on the fence. Im ready to throw them away. A waste of money.

Far superior to the metal ones the horses have destroyed
I will definitely buy more as replacements to the name brand metal feeders the horses are destroying.

Light weight fence feeder.
This is the second pair of these feeders I've purchased. They are light so I can easily hang them on the fence and remove them. I've had the first pair for over 4 years. The back of one of them has cracked around the bolt hole, but is still functional. I REALLY prefer these feeders to the more expensive HEAVY metal Priefert ones because are easier to move around when I need to.

How long till you get this in?
Roger H on May 17, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately the Manufacturer has not given us an estimated date of availability. Inventory on our site is "live," however, so as soon as we have information, it will post online.
Is this movable without having to unscrew from a mounting?
A shopper on Sep 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Ours are hung on the top bars of each stall and screws are used to prevent the horses from moving/sliding the feeders either while eating or just because. You can try not screwing it, but I'll bet your horse will move or even remove the feeder.
does it come with mounting brackets?
A shopper on Jan 4, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I need to clarify...they brackets that attach to the feeder to hang over rail were included.
