Does this product drap over the withers or do I have to buy 2 to go on each side?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, it drapes over the withers. It has sort of a butterfly shape once fully opened up. It works well too.

BEST ANSWER: Yes... I use a 1/2" wool blend pad plus my saddle is well padded.
I have an older mare recovering from a shoulder injury. The saddle pinches her bad shoulder and causes her pain when ridden with a saddle (she's fine bareback), would this help relieve that pressure?
