Not only is this a toy but if it is hung at the right height on a rope or twine, horses soon learn to shoo flies from places they can't reach with the jolly apple. I love these things.

Jolly Pet Apple
The Jolly Pet Apple is made from good quality plastic, but would be much better if it was make from a high quality rubber!

Adds decoration to a stall- nothing more
I introduced this product with the jolly stall snack system apple. At first my gelding would toss it around with his head but now he seems uninterested. It's cute that I have a red toy theme now but ultimately not very useful. Plus I smelled no apple flavoring at all and I'm assuming neither did my gelding (he is a treat hound).

He has no interest in it.
The description says it has a delicious apple scent. It barely has any scent at all. Mostly a plastic smell with a slight hint of apple if you use your imagination. While the product description says it's made of highly durable plastic, I expected it to be a little softer. He's a 27 yr. old Quarter Horse and is really bored being stall-bound this winter. I thought he might play with it a little, but he hasn't touched it. Oh well, it was worth a try.

My 6 year old loves it! :)
It smells great! My horse loves to hit it around with his nose and lick it! He actually uses it to get my attention when he's hungry. We actually play with it together, i push it toward him, they he hits it toward me. I attached a lead rope to the loop and tied it from the rafter on the ceiling in my horse's stall. I recommend it!

Not very good
my horse has never touched it. I hung it up, put it on the ground, got ignored and pushed to the side. But it does smell good. Oh well..

AWESOME!!
My riding lesson teacher has one for her horse that chews on everything and never gets played with nor ridden. So while im riding i'll look over and the horse is playing with this ball tossing it around... i recommend it and im going to buy one!!! :)

Horrible!!!!
It didn't smell like apples, and my horses wouldn't touch it. Will be returning and never buying again!

I used to have one for my horses but lost it in the move to a new place. Just ordered a new one tonight!! Durable, smell great and provide your horse hours of fun!!!

surprised!
I got this because of the great price. I didn't think my mare would like it but it couldn't hurt to try. Well she loves it! It's hanging on the side of her stall and she loves to push it around. I always find it laying on the ground because she's been playing so much the baling twine breaks. Good purchase - I would definitely recommend.
