Love this bit!
I have 4 of these--I use them for my horse who has a low, flat palate. I also like the curved bars on this bit. I only wish this bit came in a 5-1/4, though!

French link
I highly recommend this bit to any fellow trainer or polisher. Its extremlley soft and eliminates the nut cracker action of a snaffle. Really any three piece brocken bit works great. Its also not a loose ring which pinches the sides of the mouth. The brand is highly versatile and durable...You can go any where from ring, arena, flats all the way to trail.

how to measure mouth for correct size bit ?
A shopper on Jul 31, 2017
BEST ANSWER: One way is to use a soft plastic drinking straw. Make a mark near one end. Put it in the bit position inside the horse's mouth with that mark right at the corner of the mouth. Put a mark on the straw where it comes out of the horse's mouth on the other side. Measure between the two marks. As a general rule, the bit size will need to be 1/4 of an inch longer than this measurement to allow enough room so that extra width of the bit rings or shanks do not squeeze inward on the horse's mouth.
