It even includes a cord clip to keep the cord in place.

Love them. I use them in my stock tanks and they usually keep them from freezing maybe not in severe weather but light freezing conditions it works great. I only had a light sheet of ice on the tanks when temperature dropped in the single digits or below for several days and heated up to the 20s during the day. I've been using them for several years now and the only problems I've had is rodents chewing the cords. I also use them for my ducks 5 gal. water tank that they bathe in all winter.

Really like this bucket heater because it automatically senses and turns on and off as needed, the cage keeps the nosy ones from playing with it and it works great -- I've got them in all my outside tubs and have no compliants!!

Good heater for lower wattage
Like the option of lower wattage in one of my containers. but not getting a 5 because it doesn't always sit flat on the bottom of the container. would prefer if heater part was laid flat closer to the bottom of the container

Very good!
I have had this since November of 2019 and so far it has worked great! There were a few times when it got about 20 below zero when I had to break the top layer of ice but after that it kept a good sized hole for the horses. Most of the time the whole tank is clear of ice!

This works great! I use it in my chicken coop (will hopefully move it outdoors once we get our fencing fixed), but it still ends up having to work in below-freezing temps (in the chicken coop it probably sometimes gets down to 10-15 degrees). No problems with it at all.
