Product Summary:

Kaeco Epsom Salt Poultice

Kaeco Epsom Salt Poultice is a topical gel designed for external applications. It is effective for drawing abscesses and helps reduce swelling and soothes pain caused from bruises, sprains and strains. “A great choice for insect bites and drawing abscess collections from the feet. We’d keep a jar around just for that…” (Horse Journal - August 2004)

For Humans too!

For years, horse owners have understood the benefits of soaking horses' legs and hooves in epsom salts. Epsom salts are an effective treatment for drawing abscesses, reducing swelling and soothing sore muscles or joints. This soothing and effective therapy is now available with Kaeco’s Epsom Salt Poultice. This topical gel is highly recommended for drawing abscess collection from feet.

Fantastic for bruising and abcesses
I've been using this product for years! 3 days of this stuff will make your horses feet back to normal with no pain. Great for abcesses and stone bruising.

Amazing results and smells really good
Our horse's knee was cut by a piece of metal about Oct. 15th. By the time we saw it, it had swelled. We peroxided it, treated it and gave antibiotics. The swelling continued and it never went down or got better. We tried many creams, then antibiotics again later, gave bute powder several times for 3 or 4 days in a row. He got a little better and then worse again. I thought we might lose him cause his leg would not improve & the day before we got this he was biting at his knee. His knee was 4 times it's size. I got on horse.com to look for wraps and "Epsom salt Poultice" came up with a good review, so we tried it. Got it Thurs. with no bow wraps and immediately administered it and wrapped it and left it for 2 days. This morning we took it off and amazed at the improvement for the first time in 3 months. We will leave it today and rewrap it tomorrow again for 2 days. So happy, it looks as if he will get better. No bute powder needed with this, swelling is going down amazingly well!

Good stuff
I used on my gelding and the abcess on his foot blew in a day. It goes on easy and smells good. You can use it for other wounds besides abcesses. I also found the clear Xtra tough duct tape works MUCH better wrapping the foot.

Excellent!!!
Great product! I have a yearling Arabian colt that injured his tendon. We were having the hardest time managing the inflammation. After several long, frustrating weeks of trying things and failing, I finally took a random chance on this stuff. I put it on his leg and the next morning the swelling was gone! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS STUFF!!

How do you apply?

BEST ANSWER: I used it on a back leg. Cleaned the leg hair and toweled dry. Applied the poultice and wrapped with serain wrap. Wrapped with leg wraps.
