Fit etc.
Great fit for my smaller horse......I got a medium for him; perfect. My 1100 pound QTR horse is usually a large; this medium was perfect. The Velcro fit to a T. Seems durable and very comfortable for him. I would order this product again.

I Love Kensington products. Spend a little more but they last a long time :-)

Sizing not consistent
I first purchased a size large Kensington fly mask from a local tack store, just to check out the sizing. It fit all four of my quarter horses quite well. I then ordered two more size large Kensington fly masks from horse.com.One of them was so small that it wouldn't even fit my smallest horse, and the other one was borderline on being too small. Rather than having to pay for return shipping costs, I ended up giving one away to someone with a pony, and barely making do with the other one. It would be nice if the sizing was consistent in the Kensington masks. From now on, I'll stick to purchasing fly masks from a local tack store so that I can return them with no hassle if the fit is no good.

Easy to put on horse.
It is easy to place on my horse. The large size sits a little too close to his eyes, but I still use it. It does not seem to bother him.

Great fit for my 1600lb mare
Usually draft-sized fly masks hang off of my Percheron mare's face and warmblood-sized masks are too small - this mask is labelled for 1600 pounds and actually fits my 1600-pound horse. It has also held up to snarky mare stuff quite well.

Looks great, fits well.
Ordered the Medium size for my Egyptian Arabian mare. Looked like it was going to be too big when I took it out of the box, but it fit her perfectly. It looks like it's comfortable for her to wear and appears well made. Time will tell how durable it is. The turquoise blue color looks really good on a grey horse. She's stylin' now!

Good
When I first tried them on I thought, "Oh no, I'll have to send them back, too big" ... but they stay on, are comfy, and the flies do not crawl up under the edges like I thought they would. When the poll sets farther back on the neck behind the ears, then they fit better around the face and therefore are more comfy. The fuzz around the edges help keep knats and flies out too. Anyway, for the past 10 days, I am pleased with them. So far, so good.

good fly mask
We had one of these before and we liked it a lot. It fit my wife's mare very well and it lasted a long time. I just bought two more. One for each of our horses. We've used other fly masks but, this one is the best by far.

Great mask and needed more

Runs big!!! Oder a cob size unless you have a HUGE horse. My QH stud and my Quarter Pony BOTH wear cob sized. The other bummer is if you have burs at all the fleece gets covered in them.

My horse is a paint with pink skin and has to be protected from the sun's rays. He has had a sore on his bottom eyelid that we have treated and Do not want anything tight. This fly mask is perfect for this situation.

I use this mask on my 3 donkeys and my mule, so figured I would try the XXL for my Belgian Draft.
Jacqueline L on Mar 29, 2015
Easy to put on. Hard for them to rub off. Fleece trim doesn't irritate their necks or nose.
CECELIA M on Mar 24, 2015
I like this mask due to the comfort it will provide my mares with the fleece and bug eyes, as well as protection from the gnats, mosquitos, and flies.
Janice B on Jul 21, 2014
I have a friend that has the same one. Kensington is good quality. It's nice because the eye area is popped out and not laying on the horses eyes.
HIEDI W on Jul 5, 2014
it matches the fly sheet
Malinda B on Jun 24, 2014
because they matched the sheet and boots. they are actually more expensive than I'd like.

Sometimes I order a mask and it has mesh BETWEEN the ears and sometimes it does not (so the forelock is out of the mask). How do I know which it is when I order? The photos show both styles.
