Does it come with a bit ?
A shopper on Dec 27, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No it doesn't. I already had one but I got mine from Chick's last year and they have a good selection. I just use a standard D ring snaffle on my Thoroughbred. We don't do serious riding....just light work. I love this bridle though! Good luck!
What kind of closure does the noseband have? The photo doesn't show and the description doesn't say.
Megan S on Oct 6, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Dear customer, The Flash noseband is removable and buckles so you can slide it around to fit as needed
is this bridle worth it and is it really stiff also is the flash attachment weird?
Alexandra F on Oct 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, this bridle is well worth the investment. It is a bit stiff at first but once you use it, it softens up. The flash is doing exactly what it is supposed to: increase control. I was happy with the bridle.
Is this a combo halter and headstall?
A shopper on Nov 4, 2014
BEST ANSWER: No. This is a bridle that uses a bit. It has what is called a flash noseband instead of the regular noseband/cavesson. This type of noseband is for mouthy horses who open their mouths to avoid signals from the bit.
What size would be best for a Hanoverian?
A shopper on Jul 5, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have a 17 hand Dutch Warmblood. The Warmblood size fits him great. I would think that's the size you would need also.
I have both warmblood (17.3 hh) and large (16.3 hh) TBs. Will the warmblood size fit a large TB?
Dan M on Feb 26, 2018
BEST ANSWER: if your horse weighs in over 1000 lbs then ordering up to the warm blood would be appropriate. As horse size is for 800-1000lbs anything else you would order up.
when removing the flash, does the flash holder on the main nose band stay in place or does it come off?
A shopper on May 18, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The flash holder stays in place. It is not obtrusive appearing at all. I have used my bridle with the flash in place and also with it off.....looks and works beautifully either way!
can I use a rubber mullen bit with this bridle? and will it fit an Arabian head?
Judi D on Feb 11, 2016
BEST ANSWER: You can use any type bit with the headstall. The size selected is warmblood and is designed to fit an oversized horse.
does this have stainless hardware?
A shopper on Sep 6, 2014
BEST ANSWER: We've only used it a few times but it still looks great. I think it'll last for quite a while
