Nice saddle for the money
Good quality saddle. I haven't had it long, but it fits my high withered horse well. Very comfy. The leather is real stiff but seems to be good quality. The back does pop up a little, but the back cinch helps solve that. I'm impressed, especially for the price.

Fantasic product
This saddle is a dream come true!! Don't let the rough out part fool you, it is only a lighter leather but smooth. You can still put leather creme on it with no problem. It is a comfortable saddle with all the bells and whistles you could ask for. Being on sale was great and allowed me to be able to get it. Also, its light enough for even a senior like myself to lift it.

A perfect all around saddle!!
Very pleased with this saddle!! Couldn't afford the Clinton Anderson one so I thot I'd try out this version, and I'm so glad I did! It's rugged and well made but surprisingly light weight. Made with good leather, stitching is well done, and so far the only saddle I have NOT had to attach a seat cushion to! Very comfortable and seems to balance you just right. Fits my tall narrow built horse just fine, and comes with all the attachments for my saddle bags, and even has rings for my breast collar. So nice to finally get a decent, comfortable saddle without having to pay a fortune for it!! Would recommend it to anyone!

This saddle is super comfortable. I did replace the latigo and off side billet tho, the leather ones were to stiff and thick to work with.

What color is the saddle? Also would the be a good first saddle? Is it good for breaking and trail riding?
A shopper on May 11, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This saddle is a medium brown. Its also well suited for a first saddle. It is also incredibly comfortable so its well suited for breaking, and trail riding.
Is this saddle good quality? Looking for something to trail ride and and train in to save my good saddle for the shows
A shopper on Mar 29, 2017
BEST ANSWER: This is an econonomically-priced, medium quality saddle.
Does it come with tie straps and back cinch? Also what's the best saddle pad to use with this saddle, I have a mutton withered horse...
A shopper on May 10, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, it has all the tie downs you will need plus the back cinch. I have used a regular saddle pad and it works just fine. You might want to get a thinner pad if it still doesn't fit good. Its a nice saddle and comfy.
Is it really rough out or is it smooth? I want rough out and don't want to purchase if it's really smooth
A shopper on Mar 29, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes, the fenders and seat jockey are all rough out, perfect for getting a good, secure grip. Only the padded seat is smooth.
Does this saddle have rings to attach saddle bags and what not to it?
Hanner on Jan 29, 2018
BEST ANSWER: It has little D rings that the saddle strings are attached to.
The tree width seems narrow, listed as 6" gullet width. How does this seem to fit horses that like a FQHB?
A shopper on Oct 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Its actually 6 1/2. It is built on full quarter bars but has a high channel true to the outback trail saddle design its modeled after. If you have a very wide, mutton withered horse, this may not be the saddle for you.
