Not sure the saddle is worth the low price ...
Saddles are one thing where you almost always get what you pay for. Knowing that, I should have known better than to be taken in by the bargain price. This is one instance where I'm not sure the saddle is even worth the price. It is a cheap saddle and it is cheaply made. The fender, stirrup "leathers," and latigo are all so thick and unwieldy that simple tasks such as tightening your cinch or raising or lowering stirrups are incredibly difficult. The saddle itself is sized wrong and doesn't fit your average horse ... and I tried it on at least three or four. Overall, my advice is save your money to find a decent saddle and don't be taken in by the low prices.

Great saddle for the price
I got this saddle ( 13") for my granddaughters to ride my quarter horse . Fits them perfectly they are 10 & 12 but have very thin builds. They can lift it easily!Be sure and order a longer cinch if you are using it on a full size horse.Love my choice and so do the kids.

good saddle, wont last long
i have had this saddle since Christmas from last year. its great the only thing is that the stirrups are not really flexible. The saddle it's self is good the seat is hard if you ride for along time (and i do 2+ hours at the least) also if you double girth its impossible with this saddle. the piece you use to tighten the girth comes apart easily. i got the 15 inch its a good size for me. it fits well with my gelding. its a cheap saddle that wont last long may have to replace it within a year or two.Its also hard to clean the fabric makes it hard to get dirt off. i got brown and it can match with anything it even looks great on black mare and my gelding with turquoise tack

Good quality for the price.
Pleased with the fit and it's really a very attractive saddle. I wanted a synthetic saddle to ride in the summer here in Florida. The fenders are very stiff so I ordered your " stirrup straight" which works fine. I also ordered a flank cinch, but no way does it fit. Way too short.High cantle gives more security which is 5", I love it.

Good for the price
I bought this saddle to use on an 11.2 hand pony that my daughter is training. I bought it figuring it would be light and since his back is short he needs a rounded skirt. It does not fit him perfectly but with some creative padding and break in time it will work. Despite the seat being hard my daughter loves it, and the stirrups adjust short enough for her, to be comfortable. For the price if we get a couple years out of it we will be happy.

Perfect for my needs
I needed a saddle for training purposes. Something well made yet light enough for me to heft up onto a horse's back. This saddle is well made and it's much lighter than my trail saddle. It's also very nice looking (I got the brown one). I have yet to sit in it, but I've attached all the rigging and am ready to go once the weather warms up. The girth cinch that comes with the saddle is of nominal quality at best, but the latigo and billets are of very thick nylon and great quality. I purchased a back cinch for this saddle of nylon separately. While the back cinch nylon isn't as thick as those that came with the saddle, if it were, it couldn't have fit through the holes for it in the skirt. Overall, it's exactly what I wanted and needed and for a price I feel very good about. I can't wait to use this saddle.

First Saddle for Child
I bought the 11" saddle for my 4 year old to use trail riding. The cantle is very high and the suede seat gives her some extra security in the saddle. I only wish the fenders would shorten all of the way to her short legs. The quality is what you expect for a saddle of this price.

this isnt really a review, its advice
i've seen reviews that say this saddle has a hard seat but saddle butt is part of the riding experience!

Lightweight synthetic saddle, looks good.
Bought this for my 12 year old son's Paso Fino (13.1 hands). Fits well with thick pad, but semi-quarter horse bars would probably have been better. Looks good, very light weight (easy for a kid to put up on top of his horse). One draw back that I found when I rode in this saddle-no padding in the seat, but the suede-like material does help keep you from slipping when the horse jumps around. The deep seat is also a nice feature--my son feels very secure in this saddle. Another minor complaint, the fenders are not flexible (especially when stirrups are adjusted short for a small child). My son complains that they rub his legs--this will probably loosen up with use. Overall, an inexpensive saddle that should hold up.

Not worth the bargain price- do not buy!
I am in the process of returning this saddle. I thought it would make a good no-fuss weekend train riding saddle, but I was horrible disappointed. It did not fit my horse, and I can't imagine it fitting any horse because of the way it is shaped. I sat in it one time for about 30 seconds and that was long enough for me to decide to return it. Rock hard! Do not get tempted by the bargain price like I did and think you'll be happy with the saddle. I have since bought an Abetta synthetic saddle that cost twice as much as this one and love it!!

What does this saddle weight ??
A shopper on Dec 30, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I don't know exactly. It was a gift to a friend. I'm thinking it was around 23 lb or so. Hope that helps! P.S. She really likes the saddle- fits the horse well and is comfortable. Her horse is wide backed.
What is a synthetic saddle?
A shopper on Jun 30, 2014
BEST ANSWER: it's not leather. It's more like a heavy duty vinyl type fabric, which makes the saddle very light. I can saddle up with one hand, and I am almost 60. Cleans up nice, and the deep seat rides good.
do you like this saddle, and was it the quality you expected?
missy m on Feb 17, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The saddle is very comfortable, and sits deep. The only issue we had was one of the stirrups stretched out when my husband was using it. We gave it to our son, changed the stirrup set-up, and no issues. It was worth the money spent, and a very light saddle, so our big walker likes that when trailing
Can the fenders be changed out for a childs?
A shopper on Feb 24, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The saddle is made like any saddle and the fenders just slip over the tree so it would be easy to change but we use the saddles at our scout camp and the small seat sizes have small fenders and we have never had to make a change. You might need some additional holes.
is the different colors leather or fuzz because i looks very leathery then when i see the brown it looks fuzzy?
A shopper on Oct 11, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It is a dyed leather and the total construction of the saddle is great especially for the price We have two one for my daughter and one for my Girl Friends granddaughter and we are very satisfied with the products.
Would this saddle be a good choice for a smaller frame horse? I have a 14.3 hand mare that has very small withers, some say mutton withered, she is too narrow for my full quarter horse bar Tex tan.
A shopper on Mar 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I believe it wold be.. I would make sure the pad fits really well if she has small withers. I love the saddle and it is used on a full size quarter mare. I ordered it because my granddaughter is 12 and very slender . I would recommend getting a linger cinch.
What would be the best saddle pad to use with this type of saddle? I was told that the synthetic saddles would not be good on the horses back unless a proper pad was used.
Lisa S on Sep 5, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi, synthetic or not, tree is still the same. I use a 1/2" Thinline pad. My horse is very broad so a thicker pad just put the saddle too far off her back and slipped. The Thinline has a neoprene pebble surface next to the horse. Hope this helps
How do you choose size?
A shopper on Aug 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The seat size depends on the who will be riding in the saddle. Smaller size for smaller humans. Also, not all saddles fit all horses. It is always best to consult a local person with experience fitting saddles if you are unsure how to fit a saddle to a rider and/or a horse.
Does the stirrups on the 11 inch saddle take up shorter than on the 13 inch saddle?
Stephanie S on Jun 26, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I would imagine it is the same. Do they have any specs online about the saddles? My daughter is 48" and there is still room to go up with the stirrups. Hope that helps.
How short will the stirrups take up??
Stephanie S on Apr 20, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Not sure how to answer this. Our son-14 rides our big walker with that saddle. Someone 5'7" to 5'9" can ride comfortably, and they are short enough. There is room for them to go further up, but would have to drill a whole, but he's able to ride in the available holes.
