Very comfortable seat and stirrups.
Very nice saddle. Just doesn't seem to fit any of my horses correctly. Slides back a lot. Very comfortable. Great stirrups. Doesn't fit my qh at all but seems okay on my tb.

Where's the neoprene cinch?
I just got my saddle! First thing I noticed was that it is somewhat heavy... Heavier than my all leather Double T show saddle. And then I noticed they sent a 13 strand cinch instead of a neoprene one. Not that either would fit my horse. I am going to try the saddle on my horse today and I will see how it fits. I would hate to send it back. It's a really nice saddle though.

Weird fit for horse and rider
Tipped forward on the horse (to wide?), felt like the seat was high above the horse. And the seat is very deep and feels small for the rider so buy a lot bigger seat than you normally would. The seat doesn't look deep in the picture but it was on the saddle I received. The seat is wide and flat so the hump from the where the cushion meets the side panel (where your leg drops down) really dug into my inner thighs. I didn't like the trail stirrups/irons either. To wide for my feet. After several rides I traded it in on another saddle. For the good side, the quality of the leather and fittings seemed very nice and the price is low. Good looking saddle just a weird fit all around for me. I would suggest finding a used one to tryout before buying.

Excellent Saddle
This saddle is awesome for the money. I bought it for my mutton withered Morgan mare and it fits her perfectly! I definitely would recommend this saddle for casual riding.

What is the weight of the Trekker saddle series?
Kathy S on Nov 26, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Approximately 22lbs.
Would this work for a very round horse with no withers?
Vivian E on Mar 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No, this saddle did not work well on my Haflinger which is built like a barrel. The gullet was still too narrow to actually fit down into him. This saddle works well on high withered horses. My friends use it in Walking horses, paints, and Quarter horses. My friends love how this saddle rides and feels. You may want to try a BigHorn draft saddle.
I read other reviews from the same brand saddles stating there was issues adjusting the stirrups, Has this been problem been addressed?
Evette H on Nov 27, 2015
BEST ANSWER: No problems at all! Comfortable, lightweight and great looking! Love it!
Stirrup straps and buckle design is awesome!
