Product Summary:

Developed in conjunction with world-renowned trainer and jockey John Patterson, JP Bits provide the utmost comfort for your horse. Unlike regular jointed snaffle's nearly straight mouthpiece sections, JP bits have a unique curved shaped that eliminates the interference that conventional bits can cause. All JP bit feature curved bars that prevent the bit from hitting the roof of the horse's mouth and eliminate the nutcracker-like action that can pinch the horse's tongue. Gently twisting bars encourage heavy-mouthed horses to soften. Curved mouthpiece encourages relaxation. 14mm dia. Sizes: 4 3/4", 5", 5 1/2", 6".

I like the snaffle bit
I have not had a chance to use it yet, so I can only speak for how it looks and the experience I had in getting it shipped. A very positive experience.

Wonderful
I ordered this bit for my pony since his old one was getting very gross and it was time for a switch. I love this, it was perfect! :) I've seen cheaper, but then again horse things are pricey

Why did you choose this?
Horse.com Store
We chose this bit so we could get slightly better control of our jumper. He tends to get strong to the jump and this type bit keeps that a bit more in check.
