Great quality!
I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of these side reins. The leather is very sturdy as well as the elastic. The snaps are not flimsy either. I was worried about those after reading a couple of reviews but they look like they will last for a good time. The leather is stiff as is new leather but I am sure it will soften after time and use. I may have to put a couple more holes in the leather to make them shorter for my Arab mare so if you have a larger horse I doubt you will need to do that. I highly recommend these reins!

Good leather, Bad clips.
Ordered these with other lunging equipment. When I pulled out of box I thought the leather looked good. They even smelled like leather. Very supple. Some oil and they are good to go. First lesson....clipped to surcingle then to the bit and the clip broke. Clips are made of a cheep white metal. One the leather end. Will be replacing with a brass halter clip tomorrow. Replace the clips and they should be well worth the cash.

Clips broke first use before I could even get them on the horse. Cheap is about all they are

Good product and training aid.
Good quality leather and elastic side reins that I use for headset training. They do what I require. Good product at a good price.

Too short
Very nice quality for the price, My only problem was that they are a little bit to short for my 15.1hh Appy Gelding.. He's really not all that big of a horse though. Just a stocky QH type buildI wanted him to have plenty of room to adjust but they were a bit too tight for him.

very nice for the money
I wasn't expecting such a nice quality side rein for the price. I was pleasantly surprised. They fit my 14.1h Quarter Horse with plenty of adjustment both ways.

Great quality!
I wasn't expecting much when I ordered these since they wereso inexpensive. But the quality is great! It's actual, real, good quality leather! They fit both my 15.2 QH and 17.2 TB great. The only thing to know is that the stretchy part is white and black, not brown. But it's not a big deal to me.
