love it!!
Amazing halter for the price! I ordered the weanling size for my 255lb miniature. She looks beautiful in the halter and it fits great! I think this is going to become our perminant halter that I will be reordering

This Halter is HUGE!!!
I ordered the horse size halter, and it is soooo Big it would fit a draft horse. It literally hangs off my horse's head. It is great quality at a wonderful price and a leather punch will allow me to adjust this to fit. Perhaps order a size down???

Snap Already Broken on Two Halters
Purchased one halter for each horse. Both are broken less than a month later. The snap is awful. The halters don't look half bad for the price, the horses look nice in them, but, the snap is so low quality as to be pointless. Hoping I can inexpensively replace the snap and have working halters again.

Nice halter!
This is a really great barn halter. The leather nice, soft and supple. Riggings on it seem to be good and sturdy. I really like this hatler!

Good value
This is a good halter for the price. The leather isn't too stiff, and the throat snap is a big plus. It feels like it should cost more. I'm glad it doesn't, because another horse chewed it up shortly after I bought it. I'm glad I didn't spend $80! I will definitely reorder.

the leather was nice, however the metal pieces that hold it all together are made of cheep metal, were tarnished and would probably rust and fall apart in about 2 to 3 months. I sent it back

Great around the barn halter
Not fancy, fair quality leather with odd smell when new. Oiled a few times and works fine for an "around the barn" halter and is spruced up nicely with a brass nameplate. Great price for functional halter.

Don't hesitate because of low price!
Our foal/young colt wore this halter for months. He had quickly outgrown the tiny foal-sized ones and the next size larger was too big. This leather halter had so many ways to adjust, it almost seemed like a miracle. What a bargain! I figured he would destroy it and I would have to buy several to replace broken ones, but that just didn't happen. It felt light to me and didn't rub him where other nylon ones tend to leave marks. It was 100%+ a great investment and the halter was finally outgrown, not worn out. How often does that happen with horses of any size?

Absolutely Gorgeous
I am thrilled with this halter! It looks amazing on my liver chestnut QH mare, and fits very nicely :) I also got a name plate, and it just looks perfect. very gorgeous halter, I will be getting another one for my arab!

is this a very dark brown? It looks almost black in the photo.

BEST ANSWER: Halter is a lovey dark brown. It looks very nice on our tobiano paint and on the bay pony as well.
Is the leather 1" wide, or 3/4"?
Cathy O on Nov 6, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The leather is 3/4" for the Pony size and 1" for all bigger sizes.
