Is there an expiration date? Have had an unopened gallon for around 4 years.
A shopper on Oct 18, 2014
Best Answer: If oil is kept cold it will last a long time. If left out in the heat it will go rancid. To check it just open it up and if it is rancid you will smell it. This bran of rice oil is strong and darker in color. My horses don't care for it as much as the lighter rice oil offered.

what is the recommended feeding rate for 1000 lb. horse?
A shopper on Aug 12, 2014
Best Answer: It depends on what result you are trying to achieve. They recommend 2 oz for adding sheen to the hair coat, 4 oz for weight gain, and 8 oz for significant weight gain. Make sure to introduce the oil gradually to the diet.
