I have a 22 year old mare with joint issues and use this in combination with MSM and Glucosamine. She looks and acts like she's 10 :)

I have a horse with suspensory desmitis, he is currently on Previcox. Would this product be of any use to him?
A shopper on May 31, 2016
Best Answer: I'm really not qualified to answer this question. Your best bet would be to ask your vet or a vet that has some knowledge of treatment with herbs. My horse has ringbone in both front feet. I can no longer ride this horse due to the ringbone. The vet recommended the DC-Y in addition to the Previcox. I can only use half the recommended dosage of the DC-Y because it tends to make the horse nervous and less controllable. It does seem to ease the horse's discomfort somewhat.

My first use of DC-Y was in granule form, however the last I bought was pellets. Is it still produced in granules? - I preferred that.
Nancy F on Dec 1, 2016
Best Answer: Sorry, but I have always used the pellet form. Great product by the way!

What is best for 30 year old mini afflicted with cushingsvsnd ir?
A shopper on Jan 6, 2016
Best Answer: I'm not sure about Cushings in particular but for my 27 year old old gelding and 20 year old mare this product helped their range of motion and lessened their pain. Their movements seemed more fluid and they were more active in general. I will continue to buy this product on a regular basis as my horses' quality of life has noticeably improved.
