Best salt block holders
These hold the salt block in place with less waste. I don't like the wire holder where the salt breaks and falls through. Great price, too.

Made of thin plastic. Has sharp edges that can cut horses tongue.

Terrible concept
We purchased 2 of these to try at a trade show. They are great for durability - won't rust like the metal holders, but forget about trying to get any remaining salt out! The horses lick as much as they can get to, can't get he sides, so you are left with a hollowed out middle. Hard to remove after all the saliva and moisture has "cemented" the salt in, you have to use a screwdriver and hammer to get out by pieces.
