Great boot. Just wish they had a size to fit me.
Liked the boots but had to return them because they were too tight, even when I ordered them a size larger than I normally wear.

They didn't fit. Thought they were a wide calf and still didn't fit.

Great boot for winter weather.
Liked the boots, but they were too tall for me. Too stiff to walk in. Hurt my heel... need breaking in. But would still recommend to longer legged women. Taller than 4'11".

Boots are very tough on the ankles.
Boots are very warm and durable BUT if you do not put them on right and do not put the small flap over the zipper in back near the the ankle you will get major sores from the zipper. Also the boots tilt you forward and when you walk in them and they bind around your ankles. Riding is fine but for doing barn work they are uncomfortable. Unfortunately I only found this out after I used them for awhile and could not return them. I had a pair of Mountain Horse boots from 10 years ago and loved them. These are not the same quality.

Super comfortable and warm
These boots will be perfect for MN winter! They are flexible and warm, really comfortable to wear. I am sure I will find more uses for them that just at the barn.

Comfy except for the blisters
First, I have a very wide calf so I had to get 2 sizes bigger than what I wear. Great boot EXCEPT that it rubs my achilles tendon quite badly. However, they are so comfortable otherwise, and I am such a difficut fit for tall boots, that I am willing to try breaking them in. I will also put a moleskin along the zipper to help prevent the brutal blister. If that doesn't work I will consign them.

Awesome boots!
I get a pair of these every few years, and they never stop performing! they are warm, comfortable, TOUGH! which is very important to me. These are the only winter riding boot I have ever bought, and Mountain horse is definitely my favorite brand.

just runs small...
Loved these boots! Seemed very warm and well-made. Unfortunately, too short and had to return. Order up!

These were gorgeous boots, but unfortunately they did not fit my wide calf. Hope they can in future offer them in the wide sizes.

Are these boots good for winter riding with temps 20's-30's?
lisa J on Dec 9, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes they keep your feet warm but are a.bit wide so I had to get a wider pair of stirrup irons for winter riding. But for warm and dry you cannot complain!
