Less expensive than most I have looked at. Well worth the money spent. I like it because it is light weight.

Mustang cutback Canvas pad
Good for the money. Using for moderate riding. Stays in place where most faux fleece pads don't. Don't know how it would hold up to rougher riding as the felted side has places that unravel and have little strings coming out that have to be snipped off.

Decent for schooling
The price is great, I needed a schooling pad and it works for what I need. The wear leathers are NOT leather, they're that synthetic suede stuff. Also the felt is not a solid piece, it is made up of several thinner pieces of felt sewn together. Works for trail and schooling. Happy with it for the price.

I needed a new blanket for my horse who has high whithers. And he is a boy so I wanted something plain

What is the length of the Mustang Cutback canvas saddlepad?
Dan W on Sep 6, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I think it is a little less than 32 inches but it works well with more than one western saddles that I have. Long enough for a big custom saddle. It was too large for the Navajo blanket I bought to cover. It is a good no slip pad but my issue with it is that small threads come unraveled off the felted side and need to be snipped. Still using it over 2 other pads though.
How thick is this pad? I'll ride about an hour to an hour and a half probably six days a week.
A shopper on Mar 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: We use them for 6 hour days with no problem. Of course that depends on your saddle and the horses back too. Pad is dense and thick so it offers great protection. The cheaper pads that don't have the proper density end up squishing so spend the money for a good one like this.
what size pad?
