Used as award at Rodeo Bible Camp--kids love to be the recipient; always ask if there are any extras. We have used these in varying colors for several years.

Love, Love, Love!!!
I bought this pad for my QH mare who is a bit broad in the back. I have always had a difficult time with bare back pads that have long latigos so the buckles on the cinch are a relief. I bought it in fushia, hoping it would be more pink, but it's more so a violet-ish purple. I love it and so does my mare! Will certainly get another whenever this one wears out.

BEST BUY EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought the fushia colored pad. I bought this pad 4 years ago i have had no complaints. this pad fits my 14 hand horse and my 17.5 hand draft. all around this is the perfect bare back pad. I have taken this pad swimming, jumping, and trail riding. This pad has good padding and is overall this is a perfect pad.

LOVEEE IT!
I have had this pad for 2 years now and it's great!I do use extra cushioning for the gurth. It does tend to rub on the withers so sometimes I use a saddle blanket underneath.

What a great bareback pad!
The colors are amazingly vibrant and pad holds up well under daily use. It does slip back but what bareback pad doesn't??? The only real down side to this pad is the way they decided to package it. The micro fiber gets tagged causing four smalls holes that don't go away. Who does that? But if you can overlook the holes then you have a great pad for the price!

Came With Holes In The Microsuede
This bareback pad could have been of excellent quality. However, it comes with the cardboard-placard product label attached through the microsuede seat of the bareback pad. In removing the placard, four small permanent holes in the material remain. What a shame! Who thought that up, to attach the placard in such away as to damage the product? The world wonders...Also, the color "rust" is actually brown. Must be some color blindness going on with assembling this bareback pad...

Excellent Bareback Pad for a Good Price
I've had this pad for the past few months and have not had any problems with it. I have a pretty large and stocky Paint, and I find that I can use the cinch that came with it on shorter rides, but on longer rides or when I'll be doing a lot more cantering, I like to use my own to provide more stability. It slides some, but not enough to really matter, especially if you use your own cinch, like I said, on higher intensity rides. It is really comfortable, though. My horse has a very bony spine and his top line is in desperate need of some muscle, so the pad doesn't offer crazy amounts of comfort, but as much as I could ask for. As soon as he gets a bit of definition, I'm sure it will be a lot more comfortable. It has held up as well, too, I have not had any problems with durability, rips, tears, etc. Overall, a great product, especially when most other bareback pads are ridiculously expensive.

It is very nice
I haven't had this bareback pad long, so I cannot comment on durability. I love this pad so far though. Very comfortable fabric, very easily adjustable. I got it during the Christmas sale, price is well worth this product even without the discount. Have minimally used this due to weather, but I rode after some good rain, it was very easy to just wipe the mud off. My horse loved it, and it is VERY comfortable. Lastly it seems very well made, there were no loose strings or wrong stitching. I am very happy with it!

Been loving this!
I have a very Stocky Appendix that has been a nightmare to find a saddle for. So my alternative was bareback. I've been loving this pad! Smooth and comfortable even for long rides. I did take the cinch That came with it and put my horse's regular cinch on it, and I'm happy with that result.Overall I'd definitely purchase this again!

I thought the price was very reasonable and it seemed to be good quality... The only thing I did not appreciate was that, on the screen with all the bareback pads and soft saddles, it said it was on sale for 39.99, but then when I clicked on it, it was 42.99 and when I added it to my cart, it was 42.99.

I was wondering if it could fit the average haflinger horse. :)

It should fit most appaloosas, paints, quarters, etc, correct?

Thanks!
Grace B on May 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: See if these measurements will work for your Haflinger: Pad features a fleece lined adjustable girth strap. Strap from the top to the center of fleece, when on tightest hole is 33" (complete circumference would be 66"), strap from the top to the center of fleece on last hole is 39" (complete circumference would be 78").
Does the pad slip around when you're riding? I've got a basic bareback pad that ties on with a latigo and two D rings and I can never get it snug enough and it slips easily....
Artex on Jun 23, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Pad slippage is a common complaint about bareback pads. Some people purchase types that have dee rings for a breast collar. Another helpful feature on some models is a non-slip underside.
Is it water proof?
Grace B on May 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: NO it is not waterproof. It's made out of fake suede. If it gets wet I suppose it would dry out like microfiber couches and chairs as it is cloth that feels and looks like suede. But water does not bead up or roll off of it.
What size is the cinch on this pad? I ask because I ordered a bareback pad from another site and even on the last holes it is too short for my QH.
Cynthia Y on Oct 2, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Strap from the top to the center of fleece, when on tightest hole is 33" (complete circumference would be 66"), strap from the top to the center of fleece on last hole is 39" (complete circumference would be 78"). Stirrups not included/cannot be attached. Shades of colors may vary.

A shopper on Nov 1, 2014
