Awesome No Bows for the Price
I purchased these when I was looking for a less expensive no bow wrap for shipping and to use if my horse got an injury or stalked up about a year ago. They are incredibly thick, which was a bit of a problem at first because it was hard to get the wraps flat and even so my horse wouldn't get a bandage bow, but after a few washes and uses they have thinned out to a very easy to use size but not too thin. They have also held up for over a year, and I do use them very frequently for shipping and after a long/hard show. Overall, they are worth it because of the price and they are pretty nice no bows. I would recommend them

Working Great
Our horse cut her hind leg with a 6 to 8 month recovery time, which meant a lot of bandages. The vet suggested using diapers to cover the wound but they slipped down and we were changing the dressing 2 to 3 times a day and wanted to make sure it was covered to keep the flies off and clean. So found these and thought might as well give them a try. The first time we used them we weren't impressed as they were too bulky but then decided to cut them in half, which has worked great. We use a roll of vet wrap to keep them in place. I have sewn the unfinished edge on half and the other are still holding up well. We have been using them for three weeks and they are working great with only minor slippage but they definitely do not bow. We bought four so we have 8 pads to use. We rinse them and on the weekends wash them in the washing machine and line dry .We will probably have to replace them in a month or so but we know it is a product that we can count on. 1 month down only 5 or 7 to go.

Not Happy
When rolled and applied the outer/covering material bunches and folds-up, making it extremely difficult and frustrating to applied a smooth well fitted wrap.

Great Product
I was a little skeptical of this product because it said that there were only three seams. I am used to seeing no bows that had a bunch of seams. However, I was shocked at how thick these were when I received them. Wow. I mean seriously. At least 1/4" thick. Now, I haven't laundered them yet, but I suspect they will keep their thickness; that is why I gave them a 4 for Quality. However, they are so thick that I had a lot of trial and error to wrap them tight enough as to 1. Prevent a bandage bow and 2. Allow for my polos to latch. I mean there was a'nothin getting to my pony's leg, that thing is wrapped so thick she could run and buck and I really did not have to worry about her putting too much strain on her leg or knocking it against something and re-injuring. I would definitely buy these no bows over any other brand. Will certainly be buying a pair of 14" for my horse.
EXCELLENT NO BOWS FOR THE MONEY
I am fairly new to using no bows but will never go back to pillow wraps now. These are awesome, and great quality. You can toss in the washing machine, air dry and no change in shape! Wrapping precious tendons and ligaments a breeze with these and a track bandage, takes on minutes. My vet recommended no bows and only no bows for any wrapping of the leg (well for injuries or standing wraps)and SMB's for riding/competing. He swears by no bows, and so much easier to deal with then cotton and all that vet wrap or bulky pillow wraps! And they can go right over medications too!! Get a pair-atleast.. i have four on hand just in case.

Prefer No Bows to pillow wraps and needed more in the tackroom. Nice quality for the price and if they get destroyed after some use I won't feel to badly about it.

My mare has a coronary band abscess and, among several treatment options discussed, the Vet also recommended standing Bandages. A quick internet search showed this to be one of the more economical padding for the wraps out there.

My new mare got cut in the fence and the vet cut off the skin on her hind cannon bone - looks like it will need to be wrapped for a LONG time - these sound awesome and cheaper in the long run than buying bandages and using vet wrap. Machine washable is awesome!

Please help. I have a 25 y/o Off the Track Thoroughbred. I'm familiar with pillow wraps and standing wraps and leg wraps. I'm curious. What are No Bows and how are they used? Thanks for your help!
Dagne T on Nov 1, 2014
BEST ANSWER: The no bows are the "cushion" I use under a standing wrap. They are very similar to pillow wraps. I will soak a no bow with a bracer and wrap with a standing wrap and leave on my horse for a few hours after a strenuous workout. I've heard of folks doing the same and leaving them on their horse during trailering.
how do I determine which size to get?
Susan H on Sep 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: When I bought mine, the vet told me to get a size 14. Unless you have a very tall horse, I think 16 is rather tall in height. I had a 16-hand TWH and the 14 were slightly long, but they did okay. I would suggest measuring the length between the knee and the fetlock to determine the appropriate size wraps. I hope this helps.
how many are in one order?
