Best money I have ever spent.
I had been using a neoprene girths and had trouble with galls. I trail ride where there are a lot of hills and haven't had a gall since I switched to ths girth.

Bad Turned Excellent
When I received my Mohair cinch, there was initially an ( issue) with it...but Customer Service was very responsive and kind and ultimately they took care of it.. quickly. Now, my Mohair Cinch is on my Mule and looks great and I am very happy.... I would buy from Horse.com again...

most comfortable cinch around
I have been using the mohair and alpaca cinches for many years now. They are easy to hose off and clean, dry quickly and seem to be very comfortable for my horse. They are also very durable and long lasting.

Soft, tuff, well made
I have a little mare with very sensitive skin in her girth area. Other western cinches kept giving her sores. I have not had that issue with this cinch. very soft, but seemingly strong (I have not had it long to attest to its durability), and flexible. Allows for movement and airflow. Overall, I'd recommend this cinch.

Mohair is suppose to allow horse skin to breath and now welt up. Hope that is true.

When it says 100% mohair, what percentage is ACTUALLY mohair? I know it SAYS 100% but I also know a certain amount of other fibers is allowed.

BEST ANSWER: To my knowledge and experience the 100% mohair from angora goats is 100%. If there is a blend, it is stated Mohair blended. I have two of these girths and our mules do great with them in strenuous trail conditions.
