Too small for a 16 hand draft horse
Nice looking but too small for 16 hand Percheron draft.

Great price!
I bought this for my mustang thinking my boyfriend would think it was a cheap ridiculous product. To my surprise after I had used it only a couple times he took it for his horse. So now I am back ordering a couple more. Really do like that it isn't harsh on our horses nose. Only thing is the small rope that wraps around the ends tends to come unraffled. Enjoy

easy to put on, easy to adjust.

Very nice quality
I love the quality and the price! It's adjustable so it even fit my bigger quarter horse mare. Easy to adjust and looks very nice.

Amazing product at a bargain price!
It doesn't get much better than this in my experience. User friendly and convenient to hang on a hook in the tack room. We have several of these. Love how adjustable they are. I wish they came in even more colors. My only complaint.

Worth every penny
Very nice side pull with a throat latch! The noseband has a firm yet soft feel for the horse. The rings are large, heavy and the attachment points are reinforced so if you have a young horse yank its not going to break. When they get dirty, just pop em in the washer inside of a pillow case and poof band new looking. This is my second order, I need three more for gifts! They are that nice!!

A Perefct Product, Perfect Fit - And Money Saved!
Have a 15.1 tall Arab Mare - which is "in between" cob & regular sizes for her head; buying the "pink" colored (keeps granddaughter happy) "Mustang Side Pull Rope Halter With Braided Nose Band" was only taking "a $4.77 chance". I am so happy that I ordered it - the product's quality & ability to adjust - make it a perfect halter for my "otherwise hard-to-fit" mare; flexible (& pretty) for the "bit less" training & riding trails! I also bought the "Slit Vacquero Reigns With Poppers" - another fantastic product - which complete "my tack set"!

They run very small.
Pretty and a good idea but they only have one size and it runs very small. Does not fit two of my three normal sized horses.

Stay away
This product is JUNK! No matter what I do, the nose band falls down over my mares nostrils. It seems like a good idea, but it's a poorly executed waste of money.

Excellent training tool!
As a professional horse trainer, this is a great addition to my "arsenal." Have used it less than one week and am highly impressed with quality and ease of use. All the horses in training that are ridable respond well. Just put on, saddled up and hopped on.

My horse does not like or need bit, he is neck reined. This halter offers the option to clip reins into the rings.
When I am leading kids on the horse, I can have lead rope under the chin and the rider can have the reins at the same time

I bought one previously and absolutely love it. So do my horses. No more bits for them.

Had great reviews. Wish the other colors were available, though. It was only available in black. BOO!

Why does the black one cost more than the others?
Celine R on Feb 24, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately the prices are correct as shown
Will it fit large thoroughbred head?
A shopper on Jan 20, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The noseband is approx. 25" and is not adjustable. I use it on an 1150 lb Thoroughbred mare and it fits fine, but she does have a relatively fine boned head structure. I have the Black and Tan version ; it looks very striking on a bay horse.
Is this a halter or a headstall?
A shopper on Jan 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: We use this as both in our therapeutic riding program. Reins are easily attached to the side rings, but no bit is used with this. We can lead the horse as if you were using a halter and the student can practice using reins at the same time.
How do you adjust halters to fit different size horses?
Eileen L on Dec 7, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The rope that goes over the horse's head and attaches to the noseband has a knot so it is easy to adjust the noseband position up and down. The throat lash is also attached with a knot. Those are the only adjustable pieces. The noseband is fixed size.
Is there a picture of this halter on a horse?
Tess M on Dec 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This is a very well made halter and good looking on my horses.
I use it as a halter & bitless bridle.
