Do all of these Mylers with nose pieces come with Level B bits? I have a new horse and I don't know much of her history. She's sort of a "lesson horse" but the last gal said she isn't too good about stops and I've seen that leading her. Is somewhat pushy. I trail ride and need to be sure I an get her to stop....but will be especially training for this in the spring. I am thinking she might need a Level A bit. She's 12 and neck reins OK...she doesn't particularly like bits...was ridden a lot in just a halter, but will accept a bit. The former owner had her in something called a Junior Rodeo or something like that. Looked a little severe. Thanks.

BEST ANSWER: I'm not sure about Level A or B, I'm not familiar with that terminology. I got this bit for my mule for the same reason, he wanted to run off. I chose this bit because it works the pole, nose and mouth. I noticed a difference as soon as it was put on him. A mule trainer recommended this bit and it works. You just have to make sure its adjusted correctly. Its not a harsh bit at all and the 3 rings allow for different contact. Hope this helps.
what size is the average bit size for the myler 3 ring combo mb-04 bit 4.75 or 5?
Melody G on Jun 13, 2015
BEST ANSWER: A 5 inch mouthpiece is considered average horse size. We also offer this bit in a 4.75 or 5.5 inch mouthpiece.
