Product Summary:

Cosequin® ASU Plus

Cosequin® ASU Plus is a supplement specially formulated for those horses that need extra help with joint lubrication and arthritis stiffness. It works just as well for senior horses as it does those young ones in training. The added natural extracts help prevent damage to effected areas, and it comes in a tasty powder that mixes easily into your horse's feed.

Cosequin® ASU Plus contains the same ingredients as Cosequin® ASU, with the addition of HA and Green Tea Extract. HA (Hyaluronic Acid) is an agent found naturally in the body that helps lubricate the joints, while Green Tea Extract is an antioxidant that protects the body from the damaging effects of free radicals. Cell culture research shows that these agents together inhibit many mediators that contribute to the breakdown of cartilage. New cutting-edge scientific data shows that this combination of agents even inhibits NF-kappaB, a mediator that helps “turn on” the other mediators and so starts the process resulting in cartilage breakdown and less joint comfort.

  • The most advanced Cosequin® joint health formula, providing the next level of support
  • Comprehensive, multi-faceted joint health management
  • Supported by cutting-edge scientific data
  • All-in-one convenience
  • For horses of all life stages
  • Tasty and easy-to-deliver powder
  • Made in the USA

Can I feed this to my 135 lb Rottweiler?
A shopper on Mar 30, 2016
BEST ANSWER: From what I understand there is a formula for dogs and other small animals. The dosage in this product is for large animals, for example, my horse is 900+ lbs. I would suggest getting the proper formula to avoid overdose of the product. As for it's success, my horse had slab fractures in both knees as a two-year-old. The surgeon recommended Cosequin as a supplement to avoid arthritis. He is now a very sound seven-year-old, and while we have done other things in addition to the Cosequin to keep him sound, I would not quit feeding it to him. I believe it's one piece of the puzzle that has helped. I should add that this horse is not just lounging in the field. He is a trotting-bred standardbred currently racing.
How long should this product last for a 900 pound mare?
A shopper on Sep 7, 2014
BEST ANSWER: it will last 84 days on 1 scoop per day so for 2 scoops per day for 14 days it will last 70 days
Can I use manufacturers coupons?

BEST ANSWER: I am sorry to say we do not accept manufacturers coupons on our products.
