Great to convert your Bridle to a Halter/Bridle combo!
I use these on all my Bridles, attaching them to the rings at the cheek. this converts a standard bridle to a bridle/halter combo! no need to buy an expensive pre-made combo. the only downfall is it can be a bit short in length for a horse with a big head. i wish it came with an adjustable length but overall it is a good quality and works well on all my horses who range from a 12H pony to a 15H Rocky mtn. a terrific price!

Functional and Makes Lunging Easier
I'm sad that they sent me a brown one instead of a black one but I'm happy with its results. Attaches easily to his bit while lunging with a bridle in and just as easy with his halter on. Great for when I don't have enough time to completely work him out on horseback.

great product, especially the clasps
this is SO convenient for lunging, especially with my ear shy horse - it is always dicey to swap the longe line over his poll to change direction. there are others on the market without the swivel, but I really like this one. the snaps are different than in the picture, they are a little bigger and easier to manage.

No good.
I'm not sure what the point of this is?? Its too short to clip on halter from side cheek rings to hang under chin like I thought it was for, so you have to clip both ends under chin which is no different than clipping the lunge line there in the first place.

Great product for the price
In training my OTTB to lunge in a circle and then having to stop him to reroute lunge line opposite way through his bit was getting a bid tedious. Thank heavens for this. And you can't beat the price. Now we're able to change directions smoothly and easily all because of this great product. Untwist his reins and I'm ready for a ride!

I love this!
I'm currently in the process of training my horse, doing lots of lunging. Just started lunging in a hackamore and soon a snaffle bit, and this tool is a lifesaver. No more pulling her in to switch sides while lunging.

Is it long enough to work with a halter?
Judy ` on Feb 5, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It would probably be long enough to work with a small halter with a fairly fitted noseband but it will work much better and you will have much better control if you use it with a headstall and snap it to the bit rings. I keep a cheap nylon headstall with a snaffle on it just for that purpose.
