Standard hay net, nothing special.
Looking for a way to keep my horses' hay off the ground as I don't have a manger built for them. Works great as long as I keep it full. A few hours after it was emptied, I checked on the horses and they had chewed a rather large hole in the net. So as long as it's used for short term, it's a fine hay net. Nothing special, but no problems unless you have a brat of a horse who throws a temper tantrum when it's empty.

Great hay bag for horse shows
We use these at horse shows to keep the stalls clean. They are well made for the price.

Wimpy material
The price was right but the product was not sturdy. Ended up in the trash.

This product is very durable
I bought 4 nets to replace nets that I have used for a couple of years now. They are great.

holds up to soaking hay 3 x's day
I have to soak my insulin resistant horse's hay 3 times a day. So far this hay bag is holding up to the wet/dry cycle.

nice hay nets
I didn't mark the durability because I just got these nets, so don't know how they will hold up.These were purchased for my horse trailer, they appear to be good, have enough space between the knots that horse can actually get some hay out.

You get what you pay for
I haven't actually used these hay nets yet but I noticed right away that the material isn't as heavy duty as I was hoping. I might have had my hopes a little to high, considering the price. I think I'll still manage to get my money's worth and they'll hold up for a couple haulings and camping trips.

Great product for the price.
We use these haynets for overseas horse flights all over the world. They are safe, durable and a great value considering we only use them once and never see them again. My regular supplier no longer carries the nylon haynets, which became a concern with an upcoming flight. Horse.com saved me - they were a pleasure to deal with, there were no issues that popped up & my haynets arrived before a charter flight (which was a blessing) as I'd have to pay full price from a tack shop here in town which would have been extremely costly and they may not have carried the number needed. Thanks Horse.com!

Perfect
A woman at the stable let me try hers for my playful, fast eating 3 year old appy... he would rather play and eat with this net than the free and easy hay in his normal feeder... it slows him down and keeps him busy - exactly what I was looking for! LOVE IT!!

I'm not willing to pay much for a hay net, my horses are easily annoyed by the "slow feeder" nets, I'm easily annoyed by my horses wasting hay & a net really helps!

I ordered some several years ago and they are still in good shape. I use them to make my horses eat slower as well as when trailering.

Approx. how much hay will these hold? And would they hold up for everyday feeding?
A shopper on Mar 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It's supposed to hold an average-size bale of hay. I personally find them to hold more like 3/4 of the bales I have. They hold up well but I had to go to slow-feed nets with smaller holes so my horse wouldn't eat her hay too quickly.
what size are the holes?
debra c on Oct 25, 2017
BEST ANSWER: At rest or slack, the holes are about 8” high and 7” wide, but they stretch a lot when hay is stuffed in.
