I live in Colorado, which can be a high selenium area. Would this supplement add a dangerous level of selenium to my horse's diet?
A shopper on Apr 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately it would be impossible to know that for certain unless you had your forage tested for selenium levels. The results can be highly variable, too, which can complicate things! Please check with your horse's veterinarian to be certain. You do not want to over-supplement this mineral.
How many servings per container???
A shopper on Oct 4, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It depends on what life stage or type of horse, but for an "average" horse the 25 lb container would last approximately 800 days (1/2 ounce per day serving).
