Would this set of clippers be able to get through a bridle path cleanly? I'm just looking for something that I can easily and cleanly trim a bridle path with.
Jackie on Mar 9, 2017
BEST ANSWER: It could not cut through my horses bridle path, he does have thick hair, so you may be able to use it on a horse with a very thin mane. It worked best on ears, face, and nose but not so good on the bridle path.
I am looking for a reasonably priced clipper that will trim only one horse a couple of times a month.. I don't want to spend more money than I need to but conversely I don't want to spend too little?
Karen D on Mar 27, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I would suggest the staple of horse clippers for your needs--the Oster A5--don't waste your money on light weight cordless--the A5's last forever and are reasonably priced--you simply can't get a quality cordless for less than 200+.I keep hoping to find a reasonably priced cordless --can't tell you how many I have thrown in the garbage--best value is the Andis Super AG--
Does it come with a blade? If so, what number?
LAURA W on Feb 20, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Oster advises us that this trimmer comes with their blade #76913-796.
That blade is 1 1/8" wide and leaves the hair 1/125" long. It is their smallest, closest blade.
