Good product
Just what I needed to repair my coat. Used as directed made my coat like new.
December 15, 2015
The dressing was adiquate. How ever after the last rain, I realized I needed to apply more of the product in areas of frequent movement. Ie. the inside and outside of the elbows and seat. what I mean by the seat is where my bottom lands in the saddle before I stand in the stirrups and drape the duster over the cantle of the saddle. Otherwise, it water proofed the duster as prodicted. I did have to heat up the product to evenly distribute the wax over the canvas as directed on the jar. Over-all, I was satisfied by the product and its' performance so far.

I haven't used this product yet to rewax my Barbour jacket. It has good reviews.

Have an oilskin duster that needed to be treated. Bought extra to keep on hand. Treated the duster when the product arrived and no problems, although I would recommend that a hanging place away from any permeable wall (in my case - sheet rock) be established as the oils will "bleed into anything that will absorb the oils.

Can duck back dressing be used on leather?
A shopper on Jan 23, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I purchased this for a friend to use on her duster. I do not know if it can be used on leather. I would suggest asking the manufacturer.
can I use duckback on leather?
Mark T on Jun 4, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It can be used on leather boot to waterproof but it will change the color. I recommend applying with finger tips until well rubbed into leather . No not use as top dressing as it will pick up sand and grass if not rubbed into leather. Do not put on rough out leather of any kind as it will mat surface.
