My solar fencer quit working and I soon realized that the wire was grounding out in one spot. Couldn't get a charge back on the battery, despite giving it plenty of time in the sun. Hopefully the new battery fixes the issue. Only had the fencer for 4 months.

how do you install the replacement battery?
amy n on Mar 31, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Remove the top of the fencer battery box. It is the metal cover under the solar panel. It slips on and off, there are no screws holding it. Note the position of the old battery and which terminals are negative and positive. I took a picture for reference. Remove the wiring sleeves that fit onto the battery terminals. Connect the new battery being sure the negative and positive wires are on the correct terminals. Close the lid and you're done.
Note: please recycle the battery.
How fresh are your Parak 6v batteries ?

BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately that information is not available. There would be no way to tell in advance what in-warehouse date a battery shipping to you might have. We do apologize for any inconvenience!
Can you deliver to ireland?

BEST ANSWER: I bought a Parmak Replacement 6 volt battery and had it delivered to me, here in Norton, MA 02766l Your question is can I send a battery to Ireland? and why would I want to do that as I'm not an authorized dealer just a customer. Why can't you purchase the battery from the company and have them ship to you in Ireland. I can give you the info to order direct from the company.
any pics on battery install?
A shopper on Aug 26, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I didn"t see any, but when I read other customer comments, there was one which helped me. Since the batteries are identical (the old one & the new) , as one wire is unplugged, place it on the corresponding new terminal. There are only two terminals, which are marked as positive & negative. They are sort of hard to see, but are on top of the battery and next to the corresponding terminals.
I'm looking for a replacement Battery for a 12 volt. Can i just use 2 of these?
Jackie S on Jul 20, 2016
BEST ANSWER: electrically two hooked in series would be 12v however it may not give the same reserve capacity as a true 12v and it may not fit. I would seek out the correct 12v replacement if I were you.
when replacing the wire on the battery isn't it red to positive and black to negitive?
