My saddle has two small holes at the back for a name plate. How does the plate install? Are there screws?
Nancy Jean on Sep 23, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I've only ever used nails and have found that simply hammering the nameplate into the cantle works fine. I've got one that's been in place for 35 years. If you want to have the holes in the plate match the existing holes in your saddle that might be challenging. If that's where things line up, I'd suggest the tiniest drop of superglue to hold the nails in place. I have professionals put my nameplates onto my bridles, but saddles are a cinch. (haha) Good Luck
Do these go on the nose of the halter?
A shopper on Feb 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: you can put this on the side of the halter or the nose band. i had two made with my granddaughters names on them. they put them on the back of their saddles.. i had one on mine and loved it.. but you can do the horses name and put it on the halter but i would use rivets or small chicago screws to do that..
may I change the font?
chrissie C on Dec 1, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Unfortunately this plate is available in Roman lettering only.
With the personalized saddle plate can it only be put on the saddle or can it be put on the nose of the halter as well?
A shopper on Feb 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This item is not suitable for use on a halter or bridle.
