I bought more!
A different brand, 9 strand poly wire at my feed store is almost $25 more per roll for the same number of feet. I ordered the large roll as a trial I like it more than the stuff I already had. I have 3 horses, 1 goat, ducks & dogs that this fence keeps in. It's got a lot of give, and it will tension really nicely, while still giving off a good shock. I really like the first roll, so the following week, I purchased 2 more. Even paying the "over weight" fee, it's still about $15/roll cheaper than my local store, and shipping is free, since I'm usually buying other items too. I love you :D

is a rope type or wire, and does it work well with horses?
lori d on Jul 15, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Works very well with horses. Very visible and carries current well.
I've never installed an electric fence. Do you also sell the rope to rope connectors or the rope to energizer or do people typically make their own?
A shopper on Apr 1, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I just tie polywire to itself as for connecting to a feed wire I use a 5/16 stainless bolt and washers to make the connection.
Is this product twisted or braided? rope or wire?
A shopper on Jul 18, 2014
BEST ANSWER: It is twisted rope with the stainless wires embedded.
does this have a nice thickness to it? not to thin right?
A shopper on Oct 24, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I just ran out and measured it!! It's 1/8 inch thick. I've been using it for 1 1/2 years, and not had any problems with it. Last year I used it on step in posts to set up single strand temp grazing areas, loved the high visibility of it. I use it now as a top line to keep adjoining pasture horses from arguing over the fence, and as a barrier line to keep a fence line row of shrubs/bushes from being devoured by the horses.
