Don’t be fooled
I used to think probiotics weren’t that important. I have a young horse I want to get off on the right start. Probiotics very important me personally and I think they’re necessary for horses as well.

Great for Goats
I have used Probio Feed Granules for several years for my goats. I believe it does help them. I add it directly to their goat feed once a day.

Been jusing this product for years
One of our horses has stomach problems. If we don't do something she is going down (ant that's not fun). We use it daily and they are happy. Would not go without it.

Works great
I use this with my pony that has chronic diarrhea, it keeps her stools firmer. She is very sensitive to changes in feed and this gets her back to normal, worth every penny.

Been Using It For Years
Great product. We've been using it for years -- ever since our horses colic-ed. Seems to do the trick. We give them the recommended dosage in their morning feeding.

Made a difference for my horse
My horse was quite ill for awhile; we added Probios to his grain after starting a vigorous nutrition push. He responded very positively almost immediately. While we've been able to discontinue some of his supplements, we'll continue to add Probios--he's a much happier, healthier boy now. (There are 3 horses in our barn who get this regularly with their grain--all have responded VERY well! I love the stuff.)

Terrible needs to be pulled from products .
I thought I was ordering the same product I have been using for several years . The description was misleading on line so I thought I was ordering the powder since this was the only way I was aware it came. The granules arrived and I opened it . The product is like feeding large grains of sand to your animals. I wet my finger and touched it so I could taste it. It was tasteless ,I crunched on this tiny amount for about 15 minutes as it never went away. I had to rinse my mouth out to get it from between my teeth. I then soaked it for over 24 hours and it never dissolved. How is this supposed to be absorbed???The powder is sweet and tastes like malted milk. My dogs and horses love it.

I give my horses this supplement to help with digestive/tummy issues when I worm them. I give it to my horse for 1 week before worming and 1 week after worming. It helps with the bloating after worming.

Research indicates that enhanced intestinal flora helps prevent colic, which is sufficient reason for me to use ProBios. It's also been proven to help stressed, injured, aging animals - especially those on antibiotics or meds that might reduce normal levels of hindgut bacteria needed for the breakdown/absorption of nutrients. I feed less, my horses process their feed (and hay!!!) much better, so in the short run it's actually a money saver. I took it when I had gastroenteritis - worked GREAT!
SUSAN M on Dec 8, 2014
Probiotics seemed to be helpful with changing weather, stress, and feeding changes.
Reviews have been good on this product. It is convenient to feed and my horse eats
it easily when sprinkled on his grain and sliced carrots.

I've been using this with my 34 year-old TWH mare on whom I cannot keep weight. I soak all her feed into a mush because her teeth are not as good as when she was younger. Just sprinkle this on top & we are good to go! Her stools are now formed and she is no longer passing "cow patties". I've tried both forms, powder & granules. I like the granules better. The powder kind of got messy especially if there was a breeze. I'm pretty sure I aspirated some of it over the years in powder form.

This helps my horse when he gets diarrhrea. It puts the good bacteria back in his intestines.
Tammy H on Jul 27, 2014
Have been using this for several years. It's wonderful for senior horses to help maintain weight. We also give this to horses of any age after illnesses when antibiotics were required.

My vet recommended feeding probiotics for a healthy equine gut and to help prevent colic. I have not had any problems since feeding this product which I've used for several years now.
