Easy to give when I think they need it such as a gassy mare, after antibiotics, and always for an older hard keeper.

I use these when we travel with the horses just as a safety measure.

So much easier to give than trying to sprinkle powder on pellets especially when you aren't feeding much when they're on pasture. Hard keepers usually benefit from probiotics.
Micki S on Nov 13, 2017
These work! Loose stools no more!

I chose the supplements to make life better for the 18 horses we have here. Several are older and in poor condition when they came to us so hoping they will make a difference in helping these horses gain weight back to a healthy life style.

My horse is now on anti-biotics so she needs some probiotics to stop the "cow pie" poop.
GAIL S on Jul 15, 2015

My horse may be going on antibiotics for Lyme disease. My supplement has probiotics in it but I wanted to provide her with extra support while she is on the antibiotic. I did the same for myself when I was on an antibiotic for Lyme. This is a much easier way than a powder to get her extra support I think.

My horses would likely come in the house an learn to use the bathroom for these little cookies. Helps the tummy and they cannot wait to have good behavior to get them.

BERNICE W on May 29, 2014
I want to try these treats, as I have known the Probios Probiotic supplement always helps my one mare who is more prone to gastric issues.
LISA G on May 28, 2014
My horse thinks they are just yummy treats and I think they help his digestive system so we are both happy! My dog loves them too. I do wish they made bigger packages as they go quickly in the small bags. Love it when they are on sale so I can afford them easier on my budget.
KATHRYN H on May 8, 2014
My horses and goats RUN to me to get these treats! Such a great product and useful for training and just plan loving my critters. I like the formula.

How many probiotic snacks are equal to one scoop of the powder probiotic's ?

Thanks, BJ Meadows

BEST ANSWER: We have never measured so we can't help you on that one. We just give her 2 or 3 treats daily...... seems the help tremendously too. Our girl is 29 years old and hse is still going strong.... Seems when we give her the probiotic treats... (2 of them)... her stomach begins to rumble.... (a good thing)... so we are happy with that...

Hope that helps.
Is this good for. Month and half old foal?
Diana S on Aug 28, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I would strongly encourage you to check with your vet on the correct dose of a live probiotic. My vet told me to switch to Equiotic as this was not working for my horse. I noticed a big difference with Equiotic.
