Only used it twice so far and it is working as I hoped for very sensitive skin on my horse.

It's actually a 36" and the second one I have bought. My first one I have had for 5 years. No sores, holds and washes easily.

My preferred girth
This girth works well for my sensitive skinned mare. I purchased a new one in another size. It has just enough "wooling" to pad and protect without being so big and bulky like some others. It washed easily, dries quickly. My old one looks well used after multiple washings but comes out soft and has held up well. When I needed a larger size, this was my go to girth.

I bought this cinch a few weeks ago and have used it a dozen times and it's great! No sores on my horse and looks great! Very soft and didn't realize the fleece portion can be removed and washed so added bonus!

So far so good
Have only used this for about 6 weeks, so far so good. My mare gets cinch sores very easily but hasn't since I've used this cinch. I washed it by hand last week and it dried nice. Makes me hopeful we'll avoid sores this summer &fall.

great product
This cinch is exactly as described. A well made product, doesn't slip like my previous felt cinch. I love the way the wool comes off for easy cleaning. Initially I thought that would be a problem of maybe slipping while in use but the Velcro is heavy duty. Will by more of these when I need a replacement.

Great product!
I can't believe how hard it is to find a cinch that's NOT neoprene. I love this style cinch. Professionals Choice makes a great one! I love that you can remove the wool piece to wash it. Very durable. Great value!

This cinch is the only kind that does not make my sensitive-skinned horse sore. Love the fact the wool is removable for cleaning. I was not so sure about this cinch holding my saddle firm and in place, but it really does, even on my very round-barreled horse. I cannot comment on its durability because I haven't used it enough.

Is this for western saddle?
A shopper on Apr 7, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Yes this is for a western saddle and the nice thing is you can REMOVE the wool part of the cinch when it gets dirty and wash it. The Velcro attachment allows removal for cleaning - way better, more comfortable and more hygienic for your horse.
Does the company sell a wool replacement pad for this cinch?
A shopper on Jun 21, 2015

Does this cinch have a "keeper" on the off side? (A place to tuck in the extra length of the off-billet? Thanks -
Sheryl M on May 23, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi. The cinch has a keeper on the off side. I really like the nice fleece on this cinch, and it's very easy to hose off with water between use. Hope this helps.
is there a roller on one end of this cinch?
MaryBeth L on Apr 25, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes there is a real nice roller.
Hi. Is the length of this cinch measured from the end of the cinch or the rings?
Laurie H on Mar 18, 2015
BEST ANSWER: its measured from the end of the cinch...not the merino wool but the actual brown material.
What is the difference between the merino wool and the shearling ?
Tina M on Jan 30, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hi. Since I was not able to see both cinches together to compare fleece, I'm not sure of the difference. Both cinches have the same quality hardware and webbing and the velcro detachment for easy cleaning.I chose the merino wool cinch because of the cost difference and am very happy with it. After much use and several cleanings it still looks brand new.
how wide is this cinch?
Barbara M on Jan 13, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I would say that it is 4 inches wide.
Are the buckles stainless?
A shopper on May 21, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I'm not sure but mine has worked great! I've had it for over a year and is easy to remove the fleece and wash.
